Home Alone
Yep thats me, this weekend I shall be home alone... well not completely, the cat and fish are still there, but still on my tod.
Now I could just work on the bike and play xbox all weekend, but I figured I could do more. So who would like to pop over and say hi, I still plan on workign on the bike but some company would be nice. I can supply tea, coffee, cola, water (tap), squash, biscuits and maybe even a bit of cake. Now it would be nothing like the spread the Jax puts on, cus I'm a simple man. Then if you like we could even jump on the bikes and I can give you a little tour of Portsmouth, Cosham, Fareham, Havant, Hayling and maybe even Gosport. |
Re: Home Alone
What sort of cake are we talking about here ?
|
Re: Home Alone
I might be able to manage requests... what do you prefer?
|
Re: Home Alone

Re: Home Alone
well grinch, if you do decide the xbox is a better idea, and you have GTA IV or bad company or project gotham racing 4, then i'm on xbox live under "alpinestarhero". Feel free to add me
I'd come along and say hello, but after thursday I wont have my bike for at least 2 and a half weeks...... |

Re: Home Alone
Poor Grinch,
I am sure that both you and your wife are lovely. However I am not allowed on the road yet by law, so although it would be great to go for a ride, I am afraid that I can't no matter how nice your cake and squash is. Have a nice weekend though. Don't forget though that there are many things you can do while Jax is away. X-Box - :smt067 Music - :smt035 Stroke the cat - :cat: archery - :smt063 Man's favourite - :toss: |

Well I have never met Jax, but if she puts on a better spread, I'd be more interested in visiting when she is supplying the nibbles!! 8) (you slit your own throat there dude ;)). Besides, I am not sure I fancy the idea of being all alone with you in a confined space with no adult supervision/policing  ... :D |
Re: Home Alone
I might pop over on sunday, but I might be heading to the middle east somewhere for work. If I'm not dodging shells I'll try to come round for tea and man love... I mean cake...

Re: Home Alone
I'm at a big gay wedding on Saturday, so that's out of the question, but I'm free Sunday (so far).
Coincidentally..... I'm due a 4000 mile service, and am considering DIY'ing it for the first time (ever , with respect to bike maintenance).... Whats the chance of some "help" in that respect, if I bring an oil filer, some oil and......... http://www.cakebaker.co.uk/images/5038.jpg some CARROT CAKE! |
Re: Home Alone
i too will wait till jax is back............. as i have heard about her spreads

This is a fantastic offer, however now my odds of Sunday tea and cake eating have quickly diminished Damned house buying/selling. Sorry Mr Grinchster, its going to have to be another time :( EDIT - PS - no, I have fairing lowers. How does it make a difference with relation to an oil change? |

I've not had them off at all yet, so t'will be another learning experience. In terms of changing the filter with them on.....no way. Even with Barbie-size hands and tools I can't see that happening |
Re: Home Alone
Just means I bit more time to take them off to do the oil change thats all.
|
Re: Home Alone
I got Suzuki lowers on my Blue_ bike, you don't need to take them off to do a oil and filter change ... they are not joined underneath (i.e. a complete belly pan), so access to the drain plug is fine and you can get in the front to the oil filter fine too.
You really are simply generating work for yourself by taking them off ;) |

You've alienated me by making me sound like I have massive hands and tools. (But thanks anyway, I'll try leaving them on.) |
Re: Home Alone
Cool never done the lowers before myself, only belly pans, though I'd just be there to assist and supply tools, lol.

Re: Home Alone
I might pop round ~16:30 on Sunday ... by that point all the hard work will be done and I can just eat the leftover cake!! :D
