LARPing '08
 

Ok so left it a bit later this year, less than 3 weeks to go.

So who's up for a weekend of drinking and hitting people with rubber swords?

Last year, I only managed to recruit Ibishu, who had a great time despite having never done anything like that before, as seen in this thread.

So any takers for this year?

3 weeks is PLENTY of time to get a costume together and I have a few spare bits of kit that I can loan out weaponry wise.

Also planned is an escape from the site on Sunday to go see some of the Peak Districts finest roads, thinking maybe the Cat and Fiddle AND Snake Pass will want doing.

So anyone up for the LARPing, and even if not up for that, anyone up for meeting in Buxton and showing me the C&F ?

last time i went larping was 10 years ago, then i progressed into re-enactment i found the real swords far more entertaining than the rubber ones, and now i dont do anything coz im lazy lol

One of my exes went mad for "manly" smells. Not so keen on aftershaves and stuff, but mad for WD40. Bizarre. Anyway, one day I got home, parked up in the garage, sprayed a cloud of degreaser and walked through it. When I got in the door she damn-near raped me. There's special.
