It's a bit sensational of the BBC to use 'target' bikers as they are juust trying to get a level playing field, not actually seeking to actively catch bikers over anyone else, unless it is bikers that are speeding :-dd

I liked the "Bike doing 57 in a forty" bit when it was clearly travelling at much the same speed as the rest of the vehicles in shot.Maybe the speed limit was one of those endless 40s for no good reason other than to provide happy hunting grounds for the scameras?

Or maybe, just maybe, he was actually speeding irresponsibly?

..."last few weeks I've caught about half a dozen motorcycles..."

Is it me or does Clive look like those anoracs you see at the airport carparks plane spotting. I always wandered what they did for a day job.

What an appalling example to show, as others have said this is just blatant prejudice. The car behind is going at the same speed and the cross hairs are n't even on the bike half the time and at one point wonders onto the Merc behind and it certainly does n't look like 57 mph. How can they put this forward as a good example when the display flashes up Timeout and error 03?

Why does this video clip equate speeding with accidents? Vehicle speed it not usually a cause of accidents, the usual cause for bikes is SMIDSY, driver inattentiveness, poor observation, or rider losing control. Not speed. Speed will make an accident worse, of course it will, I don't deny that BUT it is not usually a cause.
