Help me with the Curvy tailtidy TEMPLATE please....
cuffy??....hovis??...wideboy...zunkus??.....
anyone??.... grrrrrrrrrrr right then some may remember me saying my old man was gonna help me do the curvy thing... but trouble is I CANNOT print the template made by the mighty zunkus:smt039 i know u need to print it on a few pieces of paper and put them together etc bla blah bla..... how????? grrrrrrrrrr everytime i try to print it all it ever pints is page 1 of 1..try to change the settings .... even in print preview it only shows one page (so only about a quarter of the template) this is getting annoying now as i have the mini indicators, the rsend number plate bracket, and all else needed I just need the template..... anyone help?...more of a computer thing than a bike thing..but in the same ball park... thanks a confused Dappa D |

Yep, its in relation to you print setting depending on what your printing it out with. Normally you need to turn off the 'fit to page' option. You should be able to find this under print preferences/setting/setup on the application your using to view the template.

Is it version 6 or 7 as when I look at it in version 6 it just lets me print it full size.

Yes... then there is a need to master the postal service... it could get complicated.
What if it get damaged or lost, it would be annoying waiting around for another. Right, open up paint... its in programs, accessories... Then once open select File -> open and paste in this address... It will pull down the image and open it, now if you then select -> file -> print preview you should find it looks right. Use the full address not the shortened version above... click it and copy it out of the address if you need to. |

Just seen this mate. You should have pm'd!
I know the template is a bitch to print since it's larger than A4 paper but it's doable of course. I've never tried to print directly from explorer. Can't you try from Word? I think it would be simpler. Just check that the printed scale matches real measurements on a ruler ok. |

AT LAST!!!!!!!!!!!!
Grinch few pints comin your way from me next time theres a .org event...thankyou very...very... much for all that we got there in the end!!! so i now have the full template on 4 bits of paper.....sightly worried that when i hold a ruler up to the scale bar where it says 10cm its actually 15.5cm!!!!...but im sure this is easily remedied once i have a play around.... thanks all....now to convince my old man to go caravaning (yes caravaning....no accounting for taste!) on sunday instead of saturday and he can do (i mean help me do) this!!! pics soon hopefully! As I said, check that the scale is right otherwise you'd end up loosing time, material and your soul for getting it wrong. I don't want to end up saying, "told you so".
Somebody else here did this and made a good post of it with pics, so take a look around as it might prove helpful. |
