Zukys new home

Well the past 3 days have been all about putting a giant metal shed up to house Zuky, hoping that if I keep her at home I will get back on her.

Well here is how my garden started ....
http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/8...oto0133uo7.jpg

Then we had to dig 6 inches of clay mud out which had concrete slabs on top which was a nightmare.

This is what it looked like 2 days later................

Anyone need any top soil LOL :)

I have one that you could get three bikes in but works better with two.
I just wish they made them taller.

Mine doesn't leak.....well not now.
Cured easily enough by covering any suspect screws on the roof with clear silicone caulking.

My Builder was meant to be building me a base a week before, he got there and I think it was too much work for him so he built me a moat LOL - the trench of concrete and left the rest. I didnt have time so figured build the shed and worry about the rest after, least it could be done come rain or shine that way. He is now due to poor concrete in which will set no matter what the weather :)

Botch it and run LOL .... it worked out well in the end, bit of hard work but we got it done !

kwak zzr 18-09-08 09:28 PM

Re: Zukys new home

well it was time v's the weather, the builder who did the foundations was worried about all the rain we had been having and the building was the main concern + i dont think he had time to do a full base and it have time to fully dry out (weather again)

Looks very nice now Shelly,

I was a bit worried looking at your first couple of pics as there looked like a steep drop to the shed door. Nice solid path now.

Very solid, concrete inprint gotta be sealed now so will be a dark grey when it is finished. I couldnt ride Zuky over the grass and rubbish was too much hard work.

If I dont spend my 7 weeks touring on Zuky I will do the rest of my garden, top soil over the grass and next to the shed and returf and dig up along the path and plant a few shrubs.

Re: Zukys new home

No wonder you're skint! Printed concrete drive just for a bike? I have to put up with old flagstones, a wooden "runway" and a wonky man-hole cover!

Pete
