Mas my bike meant to come with a seal cowl?

got a new k8 a few months back, seen a few threads where ppl mention getting the seat and cowl with the bike, was it an extra or meant to come free?

the guy that sold the bike to me did mention a cowl but then in all the excitement of my 1st bike i totally forgot

Re: was my bike meant to come with a seal cowl?

I'm 99% sure it was supposed to be free with the K8.

Re: was my bike meant to come with a seal cowl?

You should get the cowl and the little plastic doofers to replace the grab handle. The cowl rattles quite nicely and scratches really easily so put it somewhere safe when its not on the bike!!
But if you put it in your t shirt drawer make sure its clean!

C8 actually, specifically made for us.

yorkie_chris 04-10-08 12:30 PM

Re: was my bike meant to come with a seal cowl?

What's the difference?

Dangerous Dave 04-10-08 12:34 PM

Re: was my bike meant to come with a seal cowl?

Simply: It is lighter, more robust and we can submerge it in water and it will still work (ideal for beach and covert insertion roles).

M.A.N.PA.D sustem...(Manually portable Air defense system)...Its more clinical from the outside but devastating inside a building.Shoulder launched and can be fitted into a golf bag.
Might damage any prospective new cowl that happens to be in its way tho????
