Should i get one, or do u think i'd look like too much of a tw*t doddering round snetterton in the novice group on it.

Do you think it would take a top box or a ventura bag - i ride to work sometimes and need enough space for a laptop and change of clothes.

Please don't mock too much - i am sort of serious.:p

I've done a bit of research. i think it looks okay - Would prolly have to leave it at home on track days though.

I dont think it has anything to do with a pillion.....I think its to stop the rider sliding back.

There doesnt apper to be any pillion pegs.

I have one of these with stickers going back to 1978. It was on my FS1E when I first started riding at 16 and stickers have been added over the years. It's a piece of modern art.

The photo doesn't show much, but it is plastered in them.

If YC thinks his SV is ratty, he never saw this thing. The grey bits on the forks are a mixture of leaking fork oil on top of corrosion and the boodywork isn't badly painted, that's duct tape.

Do it, the FZ1S you have is gorgeous btw and would make an excellent trade in, if you get a good deal on it, I don't see how you can pass up the 1198.

I have also fallen in love with the 1198s - being a short A**e little woman I'm seeing it only weighs the same at the SV and thinking oh yeah, I could handle one of those easy! But of course being a girl I would need a top box for my handbag!
