One last kick in the A** from 2008.
 

The plan, stay in nice quiet evening by myself, nice bottle of single malt, no drama.

well that was the plan............................( and this is where you really couldn't make this sh*t up)

though I'd put the bike up the front off the road, turned it around in the road as it was facing the wrong way, front wheel kicked out on me, don't know why, haven't looked, went down hard.

Skinned my right Elbow (you know the type that really hurts but no real damage), dislocated my right shoulder (it's been done before and is a weakness) may have broken something but can't tell yet, smacked my right knee, and gashed my left ankle, all at perhaps 5 mph, you just wouldn't believe it.............

so I sit here with a blood soaked sock, shoulder that feels like it's been club hammered, and generally in my own world of agony.

Thanks 2008, now sod off.

oh mate./..thought about moving my bike today,went out ...felt the cold and thought sod it,let it stay where it is.
Glad I did now.
Nothing will take away the pain tonight ,just look after yourself

Ouch Mark, sorry to hear youve had another one, wish my pain was bike related but have pulled muscle's on the other side of the body from my off the other week, Hope the new year brings better news for you.

well good new, I'm fairly sure nothing is broken, as I can move it through the full range without passing out, it's slow and I can't use my right arm for much at this stage, but at least I've been here before, I know I'll have to go threw a fair amount of pain to get it working again, if I don't want to be weeks recovering, so I'll start on that in the morning.

Jambo has this evening had a look at the bike for me and it would seem a new indicator and handlebars are in order, but apart from a few scrapes that's it.

I'll either be in far more pain or riding again by wednesday or so.

Blimey, you and me both. I tripped over on Brighton station at about 6.40 pm on NYE and dislocated my right kneecap (again) - adding injury to insult after having been put on the wrong train by the station staff at Victoria. Hope you feel better soon. You know where I am for special tea and hugs.
