Im looking at coming over to York and bringing Katie on our first road trip.

Can anybody recommend a decent bike friendly B and B?

yes sure, problem is i cant arrange a date yet because im still waiting to hear from the RAF and iv have now got an interview on monday!!! but it means i could be getting told to go somewere at last minute for further selection or anything like that, but should know soon :D:D

yeah squires should be able to recommend some b&b's nearby although they're around 15 miles from york itself but its a nice easy ride :) I'll see if I can find anything a bit nearer for ya. If you struggle for keeping the bike secure, I'm sure I'd be able to look after it for ya if I make some space in the garage :)

not heard of it, during my many trips to the lakes i have always stayed in grasmere or around there, where is that in relation to you?

cheers, oddly enough on the satalite photo it looks very similar to the village i live in!! and depending on how my interview goes tomorrow i should be able to set a date and then just start praying for good weather :)

Might not be going yet!

Ordered Katie some leather jeans from J and S, seemed to take ages to arrive and then they didnt fit, extrememly small fitting. So we returned them and ordered the next size up, they arrived today. They are huge, I can actually get them on!!! They have sent the wrong bloody size.

So i'll be on the blower to them tomorrow for a rant, there unlikely to get them here in time now :mad:

on a side note iv passed my car and bike theorys in the last week and i have booked my bike practical test for the 29th january!!!!

Katies jeans arrived today, now they have sent two sizes smaller than I orderded!!! They claim the correct size will be here tomorrow:rolleyes:

I know what you mean but all the big shops are miles away and she wont come on the bike till shes got them, anyway they just arrived, yeaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :-D
