this is a start

http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=124089

the problem is the surfers cover quite a large area,

south wales = taffia
bristol and surounding areas = mofos

then you have the peeps futher down south

im trying to get the taffia monthly pub meets back up and running, we had some good rideouts last year. which will start back up as soon as the weather picks up a bit.

Hey these are my local routes you're talking about. And in order for you to join you both have to buy me an ice cream at Minehead. :-D

Another great road starts from cedar falls, past raleghs cross, to dunster and then minehead. Barely any traffic, some twisties, sweepers and long straights. Best ridden in the dry though can get abit muddy during winter.

it'd be good to go to some new areas, rather than just repeating the same sort of rides. Be good to see somebody step up and organise a new route or two.

I'm not able to ride at the moment, as my wrist is broken, but I can do another rideout once I'm back riding again. Not sure where, but I'll try and sort a different route out. Mind you Porlock / Exmoor is always fun...

I'll see if I can organize a decent route for north Somerset/Devon I'll do a few test runs first but I should have something lined up for spring. I was thinking meet j25 of M5 petrol station. Then onto minehead via my raleghs cross route, then through lynton/ lynmouth stop off at woolacombe for a bite then back towards M5 via blackmoor gate for those heading home via motorway.

We'll be doing minehead alright!!

Heres a link to a possible route. It's an all day ride i've done it before but would have to do it again to check for toilet, petrol station stop ect. It's a craker, most of the roads are B-roads so very little traffic but still lots of twisties, straights, sweepers ect and some good scenery.

Tiverton little chef staff are hilarious, I reckon you could spend all day in there and not get bored, perhaps an idea if it rains though :D

Up for this too, though you'll have to return the favour and pop down when I sort a route to include the TT's (Torpoint Twisties!).

seems that we have a few things going on now.Three ride outs organised for early on ,and Hovis busy with the Taffia meets.Oh and Rich with a ride in the planning.
Anyone got any ideas about a weekender ,like the NW runs etc.Any locals "ex northerner here" who might have some ideas we can throw about.

We could re-do the far-t-fest a little later in the year. Vix and Xan arranged it last time, but as they're no longer around, I could probably step up.

This is where everyone stayed:

http://www.galfordsprings.co.uk/store/index.aspx

A new route will need to be planned as the old one has been deleted. It won't be too difficult though.
