Summer is here! Squires soon....
Well maybe it's not quite summer (as I found on Sunday when I went out in 3 quarter trackpants & a t-shirt brrrrrrr!)
When do the clocks go forward? And when does everyone fancy squires again?I'm tied up with work for the next 2 Wednesdays but I might be able to make it a week on Sunday (28th?) |

Clocks go forward 29th March. I'll be up North a few days later than the 28th, yoiu know you want to postpone it :-D

Nowt to postpone really maria, it's pretty much a weekly thing when the weathers good anyway :) good excuse for everyone to get together for a natter/tea/cake/greasy burger or salad etc. Wednesday evenings around 7-7.30 is when most people meet there, but quite a few meet up around the county & ride in together. I'm the lone numpty though, since I only live about 15 mins away now. Still, could be a good excuse to have a BBQ at mine on a Sunday through the summer & then head to squires after maybe? I dunno :)

yeah we'll have to sort something out :) have any of you actually looked in the other regional sections? They could put us to shame with the social gatherings they have. Weekly pub meets in guildford, house parties in South West & Surfers (iirc?)
We should make more of an effort :) And how the hell i missed the pennine massive xmas gatherin I'll never know lol |

Yeah BBQ baby! :D:D but please please please can we have it on a Saturday or something. I work until 4pm on Sundays you see. Oh and any Wednesday would be fine for me for a butty/milky coffee and that, finish at 5:30 on weekdays so I could get there in plenty of time :riding:

lol, forgot to mention about the bbq versus "which day" etc... no doubt I'll be flogging my back garden to death this summer so there will be various bbq's on various days; saturdays, sundays, weekdays... whatever's good :)

Paul im in for Squires, popped over there on Sunday afternoon as Dad was testing a Tiger. The place was absolutely stacked out, and ive never seen so many shiny downpipes. Autosol must have been making a killing this winter..
Wednesdays are ok for me too, but I have to factor in the hour ride home so the earlier start the better. |

Sounds like a laugh - I'll have to get the last of the safety stickers off my bike though, because they're starting to look silly now.

I have an all-black bike with orange and white stickers saying things like "do not juggle while riding - the flames distract other road users" (or may as well, for how much attention I've paid to them). Need a night in with the hair dryer, I suspect.

Im going over Helmsley for around 12ish today, but might take a ride through to Squires after that so may be up there sometime this afternoon. Look for Cyclops if anyone is heading there. You'll hear it before you see it now.
