oxford titan disc lock

hi all, this disc lock comes with either a 10mm or 5.5mm locking pin, question is will the 10mm pin fit through the holes on a sv650 sport?, thanks all.

Re: oxford titan disc lock

My disc lock doesn't go through the small holes in the disc. The pin just goes in one of the big gaps in the disc.
Or am I doing something wrong.......

Re: oxford titan disc lock

thanks for info guys have ordered the one with 5.5 mm bolt, if the depth is not enough, as i should be able to tell this without opening the pack and holding it up to the disc then can send it back.
was ordering chain and lock at same time as don't have to pay two lots of p+p, cheers, andy

they usually use freezer vans, as soon as the doors are closed you can't hear anything anyway. good idea for just leaving outside a shop for 2 minutes but anylonger it needs to be locked to an immoveable object (or atleast it does round these parts!)

Round town and near my house where it isn't too bad I use a cable lock and disk lock combined. When I visit my mate (he's had a 6 attempted vehicle thefts in 3 years living there I'll use the cable and disklock + a chain and if I'm staying over block it in with a car. Then again I can't get theft insurance so I have to look after it!

Re: oxford titan disc lock

lol I should!

Well I have technically got theft insurance just I can't afford to claim, as I'm under 21 and have 3 policies and a claim raises all 3 of them and seeing as the bikes only worth like £200 it isn't worth it.

haha it's probably worth a bit more 1999 sv650, 8000 miles full leovinci system, uprated suspension. I haven't a clue what it's worth in reality but I didn't pay a lot for it. either way like gracie says excess at £500 and an insurance hike on all 3 premiums just ain't worth it.
