I always wondered what the SV was capable of, going to race my mate in his Evo 8 at crail so this looks promising!! |

Re: santa pod 1/4 mile
Thats a very impressive 1/4!!! Reaction time could have been better though? :p
I think imprezas and Evo's would be doing 14's I think. Not bad for a car! |
Re: santa pod 1/4 mile
What other bikes were running? Times?

Re: santa pod 1/4 mile
Went with a few 'org members a couple of years ago - managed a best of 12.3@108mph if memory serves - that was on my naked curvy.
Not quite sure how you got up to 128mph though! :???: |
Re: santa pod 1/4 mile

Couple of years back on a cold windy day, I done a 12.4 @ 107mph on my curvey :) totally standard Think we had a few non S models that done a 12.1. Look for user D4MOB on youtube, under my videos i've got myself, and a video of Skip and Logman (old users) blatting up the strip. |

Must have been a mistake as a little SV650 is not capable of trapping 128mph within 12.9 seconds. 115mph is about the best an SV650 will hit, and the time and terminal you got on your best run is about as capable as an SV gets so credit to your launching and shifting skills:smile: |
Re: santa pod 1/4 mile
I LOVED my first time at santa pod but to be honest, when you're on a gsxr-1000, it seems pointless going again unless you have that kind of bike again. Which I don't. I'd never be able to beat 10.54s on my hornet/storm.
