Caliper sliders, which grease?
As above really, what grease should I use on the caliper sliders (the bits of metal that mount the calipers to the forks)?
I have: Copper grease Castrol LM grease Shell Retinax LX2 Ultra high load bearing grease my guess would be the Shell stuff but just wanna make sure... |

How much movement is there supposed to be between the sliders and the calipers? Mine move soo easily can compress them between finger and thumb

Are you on about the pins which the caliper sliders on?
Do not use copper grease there, LM is fine, but rubber grease better. |

i would not copper grease on the sliding pins as its abrasive, use LM,

Suzuki Silicone Grease can be replaced with good old red rubber grease?

Yeah pretty much. Importantly, neither are petroleum so won't affect the rubber.
That said, I've used LM grease there, and it doesn't seem to have affected the rubber. |
