Brothers bike stolen
I know there might be a couple of bikers on here (well it's a bike forum) so though I would get this post and pics in as many places I can.
My Brother GSXR1000 has been stolen from outside his flat in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. http://www.davesale.co.uk/images/bike/gsxr1.jpg http://www.davesale.co.uk/images/bike/gsxr2.jpg http://www.davesale.co.uk/images/bike/gsxr3.jpg Reg - CJ03 LOZ Vin - JS1BZ111200102183 Its a 2004 bike on an 03 plate. Radiater is damage. About 10k on the clock. Full titanium exhaust system with carbon fibre end can. Has some stickers on the rear seat pod - Ace Cafe and a Skull. Gold detail and carbon parts all over the bike. Black indicators and screen with number 13 on screen. Reward for return of the whole GSXR working is a 99 SV650. Please can you keep an eye out and give Andy (my brother) a ring on 07525 921916 if you see it. Thanks |
Re: Brothers bike stolen
Sugar that's only a few miles from me! I'll keep an eye out for it if it's still in the area or any of the local gypsy sites.

Re: Brothers bike stolen
Keep an eye on flea bay ... I know it's now what you want to hear but it is common place for them to be broken down and moeny made that way. :( bar stools

Re: Brothers bike stolen
Hope he gets it back in one piece... is that your SV that will be the reward?

Re: Brothers bike stolen
Bugger, sorry to hear about this Dave, probably not much chance of spotting it round here but will keep my eye out anyway, it's a beauty of a gixxer!
Off topic slightly, but how are you mate? It's been a while since I saw you on here! Feel free to call in at our place for a brew sometime if you're still going past this way to/from work! :D |

Re: Brothers bike stolen
I'll keep my eyes and ears open, but 10-1 it's the scum from the site in Potton who've had that one away. I was chatting to a guy in Bedford yesterday who had his GSXR1000 K9 stolen by them from Gt Gransden - they used hydraulic bolt croppers stolen from the fire service to get through two chains attached to ground anchors in his garage.
I was out that way today and would have noticed that number plate for obvious reasons. |
Re: Brothers bike stolen
Thanks for all your helps guys and girls.
Hey Quiff, yeah I'm still here, not getting ride of me that easily! My Bro doesn't mind giving up his SV to get his gixer back in one piece. My Bro agrees with you Lozzo, but the weird thing is the gixer was chained to the SV, disk locked, had a cover over it and alarmed. Not one peep out of the alarm, chain and disk lock in pieces on the floor and not a mark on the SV which was not alarmed, no locks and no cover. |
Re: Brothers bike stolen
OK, you have to think like a pikey and there's a choice of taking only one of two bikes because there's only room for one in the van. There's a GSXR1000 or an SV650... which one do you think goes in the van?
Btw, your brother's GSXR is quite possibly nearing the Polish border in a van or truck by now. Sorry to break it to you but that's where an awful lot of stolen bikes are ending up nowadays |
Re: Brothers bike stolen
yeah, dad said it is already in a shipping container and left the country!
