Re: help needed..... or im a dead man
I trod fifth wheel grease all up and down the stairs once, I used 1001 carpet cleaner, unforunately I woke everyone up with my scrubbing exploits but it did work, and fifth wheel grease is a ******* to shift, good luck with it, and in your new accomodation too ;)

Re: help needed..... or im a dead man
Baby oil. Not kidding....get a bottle of baby oil (can buy it anywhere) and pour it on the carpet. Then use cloths in a circular motion to lift the grease out.
Keep repeating this until it's all up. Be careful using any type of cleaners on carpets as they can leave a mark where they can sometimes bleach a little of the colour out. Just baby oil it and when it's all out, soapy water to lift the baby oil and dry it as much as you can by laying towels on and standing on them! Good luck and if you haven't got baby oil....run to the shops NOW!!!!! |

I drank quite a bit of dirty paraffin that had been used to clean motorbike engine bits when I was a toddler. I was admitted to hospital for 5 days. |
