PS3 - cosmetic damage for sale.
 
Hey y'all.

Got a PS3 that I'm selling. Long story short it's been dropped and the case is broken on one corner and has a few scratches. Has worked since, plays games, blu ray movies and makes a good media server too.

Just need a bit of cash at the moment and already have the new slimmer PS3 so am selling this one cheap.

I'll guarantee it for one month after sale as well, provided you don't lob it out the window of course. ;)

Not really sure of a price at the moment, I had it checked out by a mate who is a mechanical engineer and he sayd internals are all fine, including the blu ray drive.

Probably in the region of £90 or so. It's the 20gb version.

er i got an 80gb ps3, which i played a game for an hour on and watched a few dvds, it gathers dust under tv, i got the remote control, couple of controllers and about 8 games, most in the wrapping, i need to get rid off really, i dont want to post, i live in dorset, and travel round the Southwest mostly, may be able to deliver, would like to sell in next few days, got the box etc. ... what's it worth and what offers would i get (sorry to highjack the thread) i was reading and thought id sell mine... but skint this month, had to sell bike, got 1700 in the end (gutted) and had to buy new car (bora) still gutted.… but a bit skint... whadaya reckon... i would of course hang about to see it set up and working...

KK, unless cash is very tight, I would keep a hold of it.

2nd Hand PS2's are not really worth much, and the games wont add much to that, you will not get a fraction of the true worth back if you sell.

Hook both up to the TV and keep both would be my advice.

If you really want rid of it, you will get better milage giving it to someone as a Xmas pressie.

Yep, I still got my slim ps2 and would not sell it. Far too many classic games on ps2 and like Soulkiss said, not worth a lot nowadays. In fact one of my games is worth 3 times the 2nd hand console price. MGS3 Subsistence is selling for £60 on fleabay.

dont really want rid of it, I have nothing to do with it. Its getting like Game in here, PS2, PS3, WII, xbox360 - managed to get shot of dreamcast though lol
