What with the Christmas present threads and the HD TV thread, I was wondering what tech. people have in ther homes?

What do you surf t'interweb on? Do you have a top of the range smartphone (Daren't mention the fruity one, someone is bound to get upset!) I-pod or other MP3 player? HD TV or slightly green looking CRTV TV from the 1980's?

I though this thread could run alongside the others, if people want a review of stuff, ask on here, or check in case someone has already slated or rated it!

I'm an early adopter of tech, so have loads of bits'n'bobs knocking around. Occasionally I wait, luckily I went with Blueray on a PS3 over HD DVD which now looks stunning on our new Panasonic 42" plasma with Sky HD. I really wanted an I-phone, but chose an HTC Hero instead which runs Google Android. That is a really cool phone. I bought Mrs BP an I-pod Touch which I play with all the time, its ace as an internet tablet and games console. I often surf the net on my Archos 5 Media Tablet (250GB version) which also now has about 50 of my DVD's ripped to it for those long nights on the motorway... I know nothing about computers, so when I need a new laptop, hopefully, someone on here will be able to help! We have a full home cinema in a purpose built extension which is hardly ever used. However, such is my addiction to tech, I am researching which HD projector to get in there next! :(

So come on, what'cha got?

Pete ;)

I like gadgets but don't have anything particularly special just now. I refused to pay the money for an iPod touch as the memory on them is rubbish for much more money than a Classic. I recently bought a 120Gb Classic for the same prices as a 16Gb touch...what's that about?? 16Gb is no where near enough memory!

All sorts, bit of a gadget tart.

Samsung 37" HD TV, Sky HD, PS3, Media Centre PC running TVersity (900 movies), McBook Pro 13", iPhone 3G 16GB, Bose 321 Sound (rubbish, want rid of it) and that's about it.

My next big purchase will be a Nikon D90! Roll on bonus time!

This thread is making me feel gadgetly inadequate!

Erm... I have a laptop and an iphone. I think that's it :(

I did buy a GPS laptimer/datalogger for my bike the other day - can that count?

i love gadgets and toys, one of the advantages of still living with the parentals is i have loads. most of which they are pee'd off with having around the house, they wish i would save my money and move out!

i'd say my top gadget is my iphone tho, music, internet, e-mail on the move in one very easy to use interface. brilliant!

i would love to list all my toys, but 1) it makes me realise how much 'stuff' i have! and 2) i dont want people knowing that the house is worth robbing!

Well I got myself a new phone yesterday, a nice shiny iPhone 3GS...... beating HTC Hero (T-Mobile G2 Touch) in black.

Next to that at the moment is my Cowon S9 16GB media player, A Nintendo DS, and an original "Fat" PSP, and my Sharp Zaurus 3100 PDA (running Ubuntu 9.04)

Behind this laptop (Toshiba with a graphics tablet built into the screen) is a Zaurus 860, again running a hacked image and further back on the table is a Cowon A3 Media Player that is now used to record from the bike-cam.

Elsewhere there is another PSP and DS (the newer lighter/smaller models).

As for movies and media for the Media players, well my Desktop machine upstairs has three 1TB drives attached to it, as well as another Gig inside, which has Windows 7 (and has had since the public Beta) on it.

No nice shiny TV - I dont watch that much TV, but the Sky box in the bedroom is hooked up to a 20" Dell Monitor, the twin of which is connected along with its bigger 24" brother to my Desktop.

Haven't really bought many gadgets really, my gadget/computer budget goes on the bike these days...

SK, get the Robot Guitar app from the marketplace. Very childish, but fun! Good phone isn't it.
