Sunday - it's going to be dry!
 

For the first time in a few weeks the weatherman has predicted a dry Sunday, if a bit blustery. Anyone else planning to get out and make the most of it? If so let me know as myself and Mr LPH may be up for a bimble about round Essex.

it was last week and we did, I shall be out, but as I did half a dozen "laps" I doubt it'll be that way again, still enjoy yourself.

Started of out to Tunbridge wells, over to Burnham, then a run down to Southend, then over to Margate and back home, had a little drizzle at one point for about 10 minutes in the morning, but that was all.

That was lucky, roads were soaked near mine, but because I'd had a really long day in Paris on Saturday I was pooped, my feet ached and I had to do the dull stuff like go to the supermarket so there was not time for a ride. This weekend will be different.

Hmmmm I wouldn't be taking anything the weather man says as gospel at the moment, I just presume it's going to rain and enjoy myself anyway, works for me...;)

Little p/h I went out to the H&H on Sunday and although the roads were damp it didn't rain and they were dry on the way back--------and thats from Witham.
Just shows the difference a couple of miles can make regarding weather

Are you sure about this Sunday weather----just looked at Metcheck and from 6:00am it is supposed to be chucking it down all day????????????

Metcheck is saying dry Sunday now and BBC essex is saying sunny intervals! I may well venture out!

I do sometimes wonder what they base this weather forecasting lark on. They could just look out of the window.

I have a contact who does the BBC weather on TV and radio, and he came to Lord's for the cricket this year after I got him a ticket. It pee'd it down all day and he was really cross.

Thought I had a flat battery, but after changing it, it still isn't starting so won't be able to make it.

Did go out, nothing special,as was posted. Roads wet to begin with but had dried out quite a bit on the way home apart from all the crude on the corners.

Har har har. Got home fairly easily, just had a little issue changing gear. Clutch cable needs replacing.

We didn't get out in the end, a certain Mr LPH was hungover and wasn't even safe left in charge of the Sainsbury trolley this morning
