But it's complaints that make the headlines, just like bad news. I've been in my job since early 1998. Think how many people I've helped in that time, how many crims I've locked up etc.
However, nothing is ever said until someone makes a complaint! I have had eleven complaints in my whole career, and each time, it's as if I walked into their house on Christmas Day and squatted a turd out on their kids! And that's how the job sees it! No recognition for a good job well done, only mither when the complaint comes in. Brits love to complain, it's a national pass-time and it makes the news because loads of people love to moan.
