Do you see the motorcycle?

Damm right - get off your phones while driving

Do you see the motorcycle?

Now do you see it?
http://i518.photobucket.com/albums/u...image00222.jpg

http://i518.photobucket.com/albums/u...image00333.jpg

http://i518.photobucket.com/albums/u...image00444.jpg

The Honda crotch rocket rider was traveling at approximately 85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. The riders reaction time was not sufficient enough to avoid this accident. The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 20 feet from where the collision took place. All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were killed instantly. This graphic demonstration was placed at the Motorcycle Fair by the Police and Road Safety Department.
Pass this on to car drivers or soon to be new drivers, or new motorcycle owners
AND ESPECIALLY EVERYONE YOU KNOW WHO HAS A CELL PHONE!!!!!

A picture is worth a thousand words.

One detail never changes... it's partially faked

Fist time I've seen it, but then I never use my phone behind the wheel but plenty of others do.

Re: Do you see the motorcycle?

im sure there would have been more damage to the rear of the bike if it actuly ended up in the car and the car fliped

Re: Do you see the motorcycle?

dont ride fast, dont use your mobile while driving.
the theme is the same (the biker loses) but the story changes everytime.
no offence OP its still an eye opener.

Not fair, Carol made me put my CG125 in the trailer when it broke down. I knew they would fit in the car! :smt084

Here we go with all the boring Hitler stuff again.

I have a bigger objection. I am not squeamish in the least. But I don't really want to see a wreck that claimed the lives of three people and I don't think it right that this vehicle is paraded around the world. Three people died in it FFS:(

Ed, it's partially faked. No-one knows how many, if any, died at all. The story has been told about this car/bike thing being dragged into a bike show and displayed by police forces in at least 5 different US states, Norway, Finland, Germany and countless others.

I don't take it seriously because for a kick off it wasn't genuine, and secondly no-one knows the real story any more. It certainly doesn't upset me.

I think that you have made a valid point there. Weston Bike Night had a VFR in a trailer that had been in an accident and frankly it appalled me, because it was dragged around and people could point and stare at it like an exhibit in a freak show.

Many things in the world are dangerous, but are we really so stupid that we need the point hammered home quite so tastelessly? Mind you, this is the time of year that we get the adverts for drink drivers I suppose, so maybe there are a lot of idiots out there.

When my sister passed her driving test I used to worry about her because I knew that there were people out there who are not qualified drivers, who have no insurance and drive vehicles that are unsafe. The saddest thing was I knew some one who drive like that and for whom being caught was just a risk he accepted.

Campaigns like this are unpleasant, maybe they need to be. I am ambivalent about it really.

Ride2Die is not a pleasant site to look at to be honest with you and I don`t think it should be linked to on a U rated site .

Some time ago there was a link to a YouTube pice of Hitler's bike. It was actually very funny, it was a spoof Hitler getting upset with his war cabinet about them having bought him a relacement bike - a BMW I think. Anyway it got posted so many times that people started to call any repeat post a Hitler post. Funny at first but just gets tedious.

Not positive, but I think that's Leelee Sobieski.
