Ponderosa Café - 2009/12/31
 

Last ride of the year... went for a run to the Ponderosa Café. Only took a couple of photos, was much busier around there than I expected. Loads of people sledging down the hills opposite the cafe and out playing with their dogs who were loving it.

Was a bit chilly though, the water on the outside of my visor was freezing over by the time I got up there - that made things interesting.

Only saw one other bike in the area, a Norton 850. Roads were mostly fine though, few patches of ice here and there but nothing serious. All in all an enjoyable ride, until I got home and had to clean it! Worst part about riding in this weather is having to clean it but it's done now... till the next time.

Chris.. OMG glad you still around to tell the tale.. cracking pics but hells bells I wouldnt wanna drive me car or walk up there with all that snow and noo wayy would I go on my bike..

Jeez, I wouldn't get out of bed in snow like that. It's snowing again here now, a good few cms lying on the ground again already :mad:

just got back from the Pondy,they close the cafe down around 3pm(SNOWING LIKE MAD) we just got away in time. all the cars were slipping around., a 4x4 got stuck ....me in a family car went around HIM:smt005........ chris u would not be on ur bike there today m8
