Looking young... Doing my head in!

Today alone I have been accused of being 16 or even younger... Younger when I got asked if I was 16 for a lottery ticket!?!?!?!?!? Thankfully they didnt ID me, but seriously, im 23 (not so far off of 24) and I get asked if im 16, it makes me feel pretty bad tbh.

I think it has the added down side with the ladies. I tend to attract 15/16 year olds to me... fortunately I dont meet so many of them so thats not so bad but first impressions count for a lot so I hear and it seems to me that ladies that think im 16 or worse younger, wont be interested... I can tell from my experience this is certainly a factor in my lack of pulling ability. :(

I work in a college in IT, I wonder how many of the students think im younger than them!?

Sigh... Just thought id share this with the mighty Org, see what people think.

Better looking young for your age. Wait til you are over thirty and people think your younger.....its great :-)

Re: Looking young... Doing my head in!

I stopped paying half on the bus when I hit 21, and that was voluntary.
I was in Florida years ago when I was 34, thirty four, and I got asked for ID when ordering a couple of beers. I didn't have any on me, why would I at 34yr old, and so ended up having a nice refreshing Sprite.
Mind you, I think it is creeping up on me now at 45......

BTW, I am about 27yr old in the avatar picture with the GPMG.

Yea, I guess it is good when I get to that stage but at this stage it seems to be a little bit of a struggle. sigh. :(

Just how it goes. Back in the day a girl I was seeing was 29 and her friend was 19, and they BOTH got ID'd to get into a pub where we were regulars by an overzealous new bouncer!

Mrs Metal still gets it sometimes, she complains but I tell her to enjoy it while it lasts.

Get some stubble. I look alot younger without it!

But your complaining?!? Your young, single (?) and look about the age of some 16-18yr old college girls. Get in there i'd say. True they will generally be shallow relationships that wont last but hey yer only young once and at 24 you dont want to settle down lol.

Lucky *******....

I get mistaken for being about 30 or so. I like it 'cos I'm nearly 40!

Then again, I did think Thegreek was someone's son when I first met him and expected him to be a pillion.

Then his chain snapped and I realised that only an adult would know such language!

This, this, a thousand times this!

There's only a limited time in which to have lots of sex with lots of young uninhibited hotties (unless you're rich or Hugh Hefner - and you ain't), don't end up in a steady relationship or otherwise let it pass you by too soon or your knob will hate you!

Got told not, apparently its illegal, safeguarding or something like that. So I guess the only thing that is even remotely allowed is waiting till they leave, but even then I guess its a little dodgy  heh, just my luck aye.

If you look younger you're likely to live longer too so don't be in a rush to 'grow older'. :)

I probs shouldn't comment in this thread Nick, then again I did pick on your height not your age...

Anyway, what does it matter? Yeah it's an annoyance but at the end of the day once a girl bothers to get to know you I'm sure she'll be old enough to realise you're older.....

If all else fails....take your shirt off, you were in the RAF weren't you? :-P

You'll be surprised how going into hamleys at the age of 22 and busting out a few guitar hero songs on expert woo's this sort of age range. I had to say 'no' to a few teenagers that day, all thanks to guitar hero abilities, lol.

If only a bit younger and single. Make the most of it mate.

You say that but I'm 26 on Wednesday and struggle to grow anything convincing.

I always get told I look young I literally can not go anywhere without getting asked for id.

The way I look at it is, when I'm 30+ I'll still look like I'm in my 20's

I'm the same, I still feel 18, to be honest though i never really consider age, when I'm out with people from here some of them are 18, some of them are 50+ everyone just feels the same age despite the massive age gaps.

When I was in my mid 30's, people still thought that I was around 21. It was very useful for pulling the 21 year olds, as I still looked young, but had job, car, bikes and a flat, and was a bit more mature (well, sort of) than blokes their age. And that is why I now have a stunning wife who is 13 years younger than me.
