Saturday 17th April - Rideout?
 

As in the title, I know a few wouldnt mind getting out before the Carlsberg for a group ride, so anyone fancy it?

Rideout could take any form of length you like and you can come and go as you please. I'll be leaving from Teesside and plan on doing it around NYM/Yorkshire Dales so if you're available and fancy it, let me know.

Hopefully the weather will stay settled for then.

Can do mate, Yarm probably the best place to meet. Alternatively Preston Farm for the ride through to Yarm with Leven Bank being closed... I'll probably head out from there onto Northallerton before heading down to Ripon.

I'll be at the Maccys from about 10 then, I even cleaned and lubed the chain last night (1000 miles last week, I blame the sun coming out ;) )

Just been fitting new shock ( good practice for AI career ? ) so might be ready for a bimble if all goes well. Hope to have proving run tomorrow - will keep in touch.

Nik, if thats the case, then hows about 9 at Yarm? Its early but it'll take a good 45 mins to get to Ripon from there.

Yorkshire Dales by the Dales would be easier for me but I'm not fussed really.

Yeah I did consider that Liam. What you dont see on those routes is that they are loops. The dales one ends up going via Kettlewell and then via back road to Middleham whilst the Pennies one loops down to Bedale on the M1. It's predominantly back road stuff which is always good for exploring but not so good for hooning as surfaces can be crap and the roads are pretty narrow.

I'm from Staincross mate. Would happily meet you somewhere for the ride up.

There's a possibility I may not be able to make it though now. I need to have a word with Kawasaki about the first service and how many miles there will be on the bike.

Right Nick, looks like its just us then. We can meet up at Yarm and head up towards Richmond but miss out Ripon and go straight to Hawes for breakfast. We can then go south or north depending on what the general consensus is.
