Weather is spposed to be amazing this weekend. I'm going to get some new tyres and brakes fitted in Nottingham then will be heading somewhere...possibly Midlands Super Bikes to scrub the tyres in on a road I know.

I'll be in Wales for a weekend away with the family in the car. So no playing on the bike for me this weekend.

BUT... I've just got back from London having taken the Cotswold scenic route (Stratford, Shipston on Stour, Oxford, Henley on Thames) there and back. What a cracking day and the roads back were empty!! And filtering in London is always good for a laugh too. :D:D:D

TBH i would prefer somewhere saturday and dont wanna do the whole day as villa-chelski semi final is on.
Not bothered about big miles just get out, bit of lunch and a natter maybe.
Will do sunday morning if saturday is a no go.

Im not 100% sure what my plan is for tomorrow yet but ill be on the bike at some point. Just washed it all so its nice and shiny again for weekend! Spent most of today pottering about here and there on the bike, the weather is just too good to spend time doing anything else.

I like bimbles, most bikers dont go for a ride but a race lol.

I cant take the buffeting, i just find it annoying, even with plugs in and a balaclava on i find the sound of the wind annoying.

Well, i have gotta do a quote in a bit then i can come out to play, Wife is going to her mothers for a few hours tomorrow so can do something tomorrow as well.
I have got loads of work to do in and around my house but weather is too appealing.

Starting to arrange something now as I sit here in bed :) just a short one as I don't have many miles left before service is due. Looking to head to Midland Superbikes, then up to Melton Mowbray then stop a Rutland Water for Ice Cream. Then back to midland superbikes.
Anybody welcome to join.
Will be leaving Northampton at 11ish so will be at MS at 11.30, we will stop for a wee while to catch some rays n probably be leaving about 12ish for Melton and Rutland.

Got my Iphone so if you want to join but may be a bit later let me know by posting on here and we could probably wait for a wee while for ya.
So far is Me and Speedplay (lets hope he finishes today :))

Just got in, had a cracking ride today, cheers Rob.
Had an ice cream at Rutland but unfortunately there was a accident on the road to melton and the road was closed so never got to melton but it was after the nice windy bit so we got to do that twice :)
Lovely sunny day and after tweaking my suspension settings yesterday am very happy with the changes.
Used to think it was my tyres not inspiring confidence but it was a combination or too stiff compression and too slow rebound. All sorted now whoop whoop.

Lucky mofo :( I was going to gice my brake a quick going over then text you to see if you wanted to head out.

The quick going over turned into a nightmare when I popped one of the pistons out of the caliper though lol... cant believe how simple brake systems are though now I have had the bike completely in bits.

Ha!! You are a douche. Yeah its amazing when you take the brakes apart it is just a hydraulic pump, simples.....still managed to **** it up though didn't you? Did you think the piston would be retained somehow?

Yeah, I didnt think the piston would pop out if I kept pump, thought it would be held in somehow, brake fluid every where and me ****ting it.

Piston slipped straight back in but then had to get fresh fluid, bleed them etc and clean the brake fluid from everywhere so it didnt contaminate the pads/calipers.

Its all back together and bled, the pads were not glazed but I gave them some 120grit wet and dry anyway.

The virbation is still there though :(

I am going to mess with the suspension tomorrow, reduce the the preload a bit and increase the compression damping and see if that has any effect as the forks probably dive to fast and dont use the full fork.

It annoying not being able to sus out what the problem is.
