What do normal folk do at weekends ?

I don`t mean get rat-arsed on a Fri and Sat night, I mean during the day ?

Just wondered as I`ve pretty much spent the whole of today on here and ebay looking at stuff to buy and sell, and youtube.

I tend to go shoppin in town, or meet some of me mates.
Or il go out on my bike, or wash it, or both.
i also do what youve done and just do not much tbh :)

Yesterday :

Got up, took the dogs for a walk, went food shopping, went out on my pushbike for a few hours, watched a bit of TV had some food then went to bed

Today :

Watched WSB
Took dogs for a walk
Cleaned pushbike, and relubed chain
Watched some TV, had some food generally relaxed

Not sure about that but if it's nice and I'm not working I either ride or break my bike (at the same time every so often). Failing that , see some mates.

Got loads of stuff you could put on ebay for me if that's what floats your boat? :)

I normally spend Saturday with my sister and niece as drew and my sister's husband play field hockey together. Sunday is mine and drew's day that we may spend out on the bike, or in the house, sometimes visit parents, friends etc.

the washing and ironing routine. Chill out in the mornings normally.

It does kind of depend on how much I had to drink on Friday night...

This weekend, I have-

Had a band practice session, got some guitar practice in, watched one and a half films, a bit of telly, a fair bit of Tomb Raider Anniversary (got it on Friday),trying to to figure out what has caused my entire indicator circuit to die (got a new relay on order- hoping it's just that!), been for a 2 mile run (warm air is harder to breathe, isn't it).

So it's been fairly productive weekend for me, really. I haven't spent any time re-famiiliarising myself with Pro Tools, but that'll happen soon...

And now I'm here! Typing away on the interweb.

The next few months might have a challenge- got a NAS drive arriving tomorrow- I may start getting my CD collection onto iTunes (about 800 of them).

It also depends if it's a Formula 1 weekend. Or if I've got a gig planned...

Saturday is usually shopping a.m., golf afternoon, falling down water in the evening.
Sunday with Mrs B and coffee and papers + the occasional ride out.

Sunday evening is total chill on the sofa with nice food/in door picnic, and maybe a bit of work before Monday bedlam

i go to work 8-1 on saturday morning, then come home, and if its not nice enough to go out on the Fazer then I will tend to play PS3/XBox 360 pretty much most of the afternoon, then in the evening most likely head down to a friends, possibly have a few beers, then sunday just sit and do preeetty much same same all over again

Usually I do three 12 hr nightshifts. Now I'm preggers I do a 6 hr day shift on a Friday, and two 12 hr shifts on Sat and Sun,

Unfortunately I'm having a few probs, and haven't been too well, so have been resting with the laptop for company, as Peg works all weekend too.

I work friday and saturday so I usually go get rat arsed through the day and then juts keep topped up when Im at work then sunday sleep in and go meet a coupe of mates or go out on the bike.

:) I wondered how many replies it would take for someone to pick up on that. I had a wager with meself it would be quite soon so I guess i`ve won a tenner, from me, oh wait..........

Selling doesn`t really float my boat, but needs must, I need to have a viscious clearout of crap...............I mean pristine top notch bargain merchandise :)
Buying on the other is rather cool, especially clothes and stuff.

Not half as exciting as mine i`ll wager. :(

Every day is the same for me, except weekends when I dont bother checking the internet for orders to despatch. Apart from that its a neverending quest to find jobs, fill in applications and CV`s, send them off, wait weeks and if i`m lucky get a "sod off" letter back.

And thats the easy bit to explain, the rest of me is complicated a hell. lol.

Spring/Summer months - Watch bikes/cars on TV or quite a few weekends will go and watch bike or car racing. Been Oulton Park twice already this year and off again next weekend for BSB, then it's Northwich Thundersprint and Cadwell BSB soon after :D

Winter months - Sit in all day waiting for Spring/Summer months :D

Oh and I'm not 'normal' either but my weekends ususally consist of:

- Quality time with Mr VT
- Riding the horse (different to the above for those of you who know what Bear's nickname for Mr VT is)
- Riding the bike
- Walking the dogs
- Visiting the outlaws
- Having various girly weekends with mates

This weekend applied 18L of fence paint and still ran out, arms ache, back aches. Wife still not happy.

Normally weekends are for sleeping off the night.

That is the worst 'i own lots of land with a big ass fence' post ever ;)

My weekend vary, sometimes spent cleaning the house/cars, some spent on the bike, some spent doing nothing, some spent doing completely random things like walking around a lake with my girlfriend.

I ride the motorbike or I go climbing. Used to do some hill walking but been quite slack with that recently.

Also spend time with the gf...most weekends when it's nice I will be out on the bike though!

Friday and Saturday night is either spent in the pub or round at a mates. 3 or 4 pints and that's enough for me...I like a clear head in case Saturday or Sunday is nice!

Friday night - rode up to Cadwell

Saturday - watched some club racing at Cadwell and took a few photos.

Sunday - rode home in the rain, caught up on my sleep, did some shopping and played a bit of Borderlands.

Are horses easy to hunt then ? They can run away fast surely ?
