Zx9r for sale
Hello all,
My boyfriend is selling his zx9r. It's a lovely bike, the only reason it's going is we have another one in the garage and 2 seem excessive. Here are the details: Kawasaki ZX9R for sale: The basics: * Year 2000 E1 model in green/purple * < 11,000 miles * 11 months tax and test * Full service history. * Ohlins shock with adjustable everything and hydraulic preload. * Beowulf titanium exhaust + stainless link pipe - lovely sound but not too loud (although you can take the baffle out) * Colour matched undertray and tail tidy. * Powerbronze screen * Clear LED tail light * Pyramid carbon fibre hugger * Carbon Mudguard * Carbon fairing infills * Carbon clock cover * Single seat pod + pillion accessories * Braided brake lines * Adjustable Rearsets * +4 ignition advancer The bike is excellent condition. There might be the odd scratch somewhere if you use a magnifying glass. Based in Hertfordshire. http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=aVaDn5i http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=aVaDpAr http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=gxTj_dr http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=PqrauaS http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=aVaDx3S 2500 pounds Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions and i'll pass them on. Cheers mary |

Re: Zx9r for sale
I love my zx9r, in my (admittedly reasonably limited) experience one of the best road bikes everer. Fast enough to be fast while still comfy enough to be comfy.
If I had the cash I'd snap this up, looks lovely! If anyone wants a brilliant road bike, you'd be hard pushed to beat a 9! |

Re: Zx9r for sale
Thanks guys, I agree the 9r is a well kept secret. I've ridden it about a bit and it seems to love cornering - it made my vfr feel like a bit of a (comfy) old sofa. It's probably party down to the Ohlins shock i should think, but anyway it inspires a lot of confidence when you're on it. We'll be sad to see it go.
22- thanks for putting the bike on the 9r forum. It's actually already there - it's my boyfriend Sam's machine. CHeers all mary |
Re: Zx9r for sale
I'll never sell my 9r. I like it too much to see it go. Someday its getting treated to a full stripdown, and powdercoat session. Then it'l go in my lounge when the fuel is no longer available...
What zx9 forum did you put it up for sale on?? The major zx9 owners group is the zx9r.net forum. There's folk on there who have several of them, and some of them (old '95 model B1's, onwards), have been fully restored and are better than factory nick... |
