What new bike?
 

Pottering down the Ronda Road yesterday afternoon when I saw a train of around 30 bikes heading in the opposite direction. My guess is that it was bike journo's heading up to the Ascari race track after doing real road tests. But what is this new bike?

It is a naked,they were all black versions with some red. They appeared to have a largish air intake at the side of the front of the petrol tank. I'm guessing that they were in line 4's.

Anyone know who and what is about to be released?

Not an IL4 though. Jurno's are out there testing them at the moment, look exactly as you are describing.

i think you are right my friend. I was riding in to face on brilliant sunshine and did not notice the giveaway trellis frame, nor due to riding a Harley with screaming eagle exhausts could I detect the exhaust note of the mentioned bikes.

Having owned one for a spell,I have to say that the V Max was what came to my mind when I saw them. Also very similar to one of the Benelli's with a hint of Fazer somehow.

Must mention one thing, dont believe all you read in the mags by those bike journos. You know? Sliding it in, wheelying out of turns blah,blah. Trust me, even though I was on a big old Road King I would have been over taking most of those guys on the ascent.

That new Duke has 165 bph,for a naked machine pretty mouth watering stuff.
