Nothing, race was long over and you are trying to con us with past posting, we've all seen Paul Newman in the Sting and have seen this grift before.

Good try Scoobs... LOL

We all came close, but no cigar. Stoner last year and (although early) Rossi this year - anyone else think the Duc needs sorting out?

Round 1 surprises for me: Simoncelli and Spies. Both good riders no doubt, but 5th and 6th respectively - nice work.

Early prediction for Jerez:

1 Lorenzo
2 Pedrosa
3 Stoner

Re: Moto GP Race Predictions 2011

I wondered if the pain that Dani Pedrosa complained about in his left fore arm, might have been caused by the fact that he was almost thrown off his bike during the formation lap. However he does state that the problem first appeared during practise sessions. He did say that from around mid race on he was in agony just pulling in the clutch lever. If true his 3rd place is commendable. Simoncelli deid very well and Valentino showed he is prepared to battle despite the Ducati being far from ideal.

Honda have thrown everything at it this year. They are determined to win it in the last year of the 800's.

I bet Simoncelli is running a fari few sexy bits in his engine too.

If the first four are Hondas, it makes it difficult for Yamaha (and everyone else) to get up the points. They're spending their way to the win!

Simoncelli is a full factory bike with fancy gearbox.

I bet Toni Elias is thinking how good moto2 was. God knows where he found that bike but it needs to go back there.

In my view....Rossi rode a very subdued race with very little of the old zip. Kinda let's ride and get home. Looking at what Jeremy Burgess body language was saying...oops. Although his lap time were reasonable and certainly not too far behind Stoner. But the optimism is not there. I wonder if the quake in Japan will help Rossi....my understanding is the Japanese factories will have to delay developments for the near future.

I think Stoner has won the Jackpot and can almost envisage him winning every race.

As I understand it, the problem isnt the bike. The problem is that he isnt getting on with the Bridgestone tyres and cant get any heat into the rear tyre.

And by the sounds of it he never will. Wonder how long it will be till they dump him and bring in another rider... Wonder what Marc Marquez would do on an 800 Crash more than likely, but I can't see it being long till he's up there with the backing that he has already.
