Suggestions on mods to make?

I've had my bike for getting on for 3 years now and it's served me well for the nigh on 30k it's done.

I've modded it along the way (as you do) and now weather is improving, meaning more daylight hours and warmth, I am itching to do some more mods.

I'm not really looking for power increases (because there really aren't any worth doing IMO), but things to make it look and feel better. I appreciate there is a law of diminishing returns and the more you mod it, the less it's mod'able (if that makes sense).

Anyway, it's been a joy to swap/upgrade stuff and do a bit of learning along the way, so now I'm looking for something else to do.

I'm thinking GBMoto rearsets and I would like to replace the front springs/oil at some point soon.

What other mods haven't I thought of?

Current mods in sig.

(P.S. Ruled out the CNC clutch cover that Nille was doing on account of it costing a bit too much purely for cosmetics)

Personally I'd get a seat cowl and take off the rear pegs and get a nice can hanger but I'm guessing you need the pegs. Some black rearsets would look great.

An undertray really makes the back end look nice with the indicators built in.

Good thoughts Dazla...I have a seat cowl but need pillion seat and pegs for Nobbylass. I've powder coated the existing rearsets and pillion pegs black.

I thought about an undertray but it seemed like a costly way of doing the same as a tail tidy. Although spraying the stock undertray might look good for a bit, i'm sure it'd get chipped to buggery in no time.

Actually you might not benefit that much from an undertray because your bike is black anyway. The standard black bum stuck out a lot on my silver sv and looked a bit naff to me.

Get an updated pic of your stealth machine up :p

Will try and get more pics, but essentially the same as below, but with black pegs.

HID's, fairing mesh, new can maybe? Dunno, doesn't look like it needs a lot more

+1 on metalhead's suggestion, gsxr indi's would look good

I thought about HID's and the fairing mesh actually. Where's the best place to get fairing mesh from. IIRC Barwell had some on his before he rear-ended his old man (oo-er) and someone else off here who's name escapes me.

From what I remember, there was some concern over it restricting air flow to/from the rad and I seem to remember a suggestion of only fixing one side to allow it to move laterally without stressing the panels?

Hmmm...Gixer indies...might look into that as well. Will do a bit of a search on here.

Thanks guys...keep 'em coming!

(I was thinking about ceramic powder coating the zorst and pipes too...as well as spraying the engine black. The engine paint thing seems a bit too hard though as I'd want to take it out and give it a good going over).

I had mesh on mine at one point. Got it from B&Q and used a hot glue gun to attach it. Seriously doubt it would affect the cooling. Oh and make sure you get aluminium stuff not steel

The gsxr indi's are easy enough to do. A black beowulf can would look nice

You could still do this but to stop it from chipping as bad fit some protective film to it or maybe black vinyl?

Can't you just enjoy it now mate ?

Or modify it to look and perform like a triumph sprint, that's what I did ;)

I got the mesh in the fairings gaps on the side and it looks ace, just hides those horrible holes. :-)
