Torchwood - anyone watching it?
 

Always been a HUGE fan, but really struggling to get into this series. Is it just me? Will be watching tonight but if its no better there'll be no more Cpt. Jack for me...

I love it:) , i think its quite a good series, will be watching it on iplayer tonight, getting a bike jacket later, so no spoilers on here

I'm a big fan but I'm not so keen on this series long one mission thingy.

I preferred it when there was a new problem to sort every episode.

Btw, I wish they'd stop with the excessive gayness, it's totally unnecessary.

Watching this series and quite liking it...not seen the previous ones, but if better than this I might have a looksie on iplayer.

Watching but not as good as the previous ones. One storyline over 10 episodes and to be honest not really that much going on. I will continue watching in the hope that the climax will be better. Bring on Dr Who he'd fix it.

It's tediously slow, and obviously aimed more at the US audience (so that they can keep up).

One main story per episode with themes running through the series is better.

GF kept on telling me this was brilliant, like Dr Who for grown ups. I finally watched one a couple of weeks a go. Such rubbish :p

watching it on sidereel (the yanks get it earlier than us) so im a ep or 2 ahead and its getting worse
to much like a gay soft porn movie with a bad story line

I like the show, and i really like Cpt. Jack.
BUT
I really don't want to see him making this into a gay porn show..............
The fans of torchwood do not need all this gayness....

Never seen it before, but happened to catch the first episode, and so far have really enjoyed the series, but to be honest this weeks was a lille dissapointing IMO. i didn't realise that the previous series were a different plot every week, i might try and catch up once this series is over!

Yep have to agree that the first few series were really good but the latest one has gone downhill and the gayness has become a bit excessive when it could easily have been implied, but to all those who have said yak etc would you have turned off if it had been Gwen and the american lady cavorting about naked? ;)

I understand what youre saying, but they wouldn't have shown their bare rear ends then, it would've been shot differently.

The American woman has gotta a kicking figure going on btw, she looks hot in those boots :)

I liked the female doctor who got burned alive as well, shame that.

The writer is a nufter, he's doing this stuff to get a reaction, it's working cos were discussing it now.
John barrowman couldn't be anymore gay if he went and got gay tuition at a gay training 'camp' ( pun intended).

although i'm enjoying it i must admit there is a bit of a gay overload. like most movies/tv if you want to fill a gap put sex in. but this weeks episode took the biscuit. if i want to watch gay porn i'll rent a movie or i'll ask the mates if i can sit and watch.

I've still got the last two weeks sat on the vid that I haven't had a chance to watch yet. And tonight's now. Definitely agree that the 10 episode run could have been halved to keep it moving a bit faster. But then our American cousins might have struggled to keep up. After all, it's their fault we have "Previously on..." at the beginning of everything and, if it's 'factual' like Wife Swap etc you have to have a "Coming After The Break..." and a recap after the adverts as well because they'll forget what they've just seen otherwise. Actually, apart from "Law & Order" which, in 20 series, I genuinely don't think I've ever seen a "Previously on..."

I watched the 1st and 2nd then went away...
got back and watched the 3rd tonight... then deleted the rest of the series as counldn't be arsed to waste another 7 hours of my life on it :0(

I watched episode 9 last night, seemed better than the rest eager to see last now but I think I know what is going to happen.
