RST 2 piece leathers (Good condition)

As the SV is up for sale and me moving to a BMW. Don't think leathers are appropriate for a GS :) So they have to go. I brought them from someone on here really good condition of which they still are now. Few little marks of damn bugs but a bit of leather cleaner will shift this with ease of which i will do tomorrow. Apart from that the left slider has a white mark on it, thought it was toothpaste but its not.

Been used since June on weekends to Loomies etc. Apart from that are in very good condition. Also going to be selling my mint condition AGV Stealth helmet which i only just brought too. Thread will follow at the weekend when i get some decent pictures of it.

Will upload a full picture album tomorrow of the leathers. Here is what they look like though when i got them. Nothing has changed at all! Still look mint.

Going to ask for £150 but open to sensible offers. The jacket is size 42 chest and trousers are waist 32. To be honest i dont believe the trousers as even with thermals on i still have way to much room and i'm at 30-32. So personally i think 34 is fine too. To compare the jacket im 6ft tall and 10 stone. With a jumper underneath and 2/3 under tops it still fits me fine. So no issues there if your the same sort of size.

Any questions just ask.

Just sat around now. BMW is here and enduro suit is being worn. Great christmas present need to sell. Lets face it the prices at NEC or on Ebay are nothing compared to these! Not to mention the condition.

£150 for RST leathers chaps. You wouldn't get them cheaper anywhere else. Just sat in a box now cleaned and ready to go. Dont want them hanging around offers would be considered but not going to budge much. Ebay will get them soon.

If only you were a bit "larger" :-) i would seriously consider these... bugger - whereabouts in hampshire are you?

Ben Whitcher 08-12-11 10:22 PM

Re: RST 2 piece leathers (Good condition)

Winchester, these are larger than me. By No means they are tight at all. I have just got a enduro suit for my Beemer an that trousers are M which i believe is 32" and they are tight i cant wear a jumper tucked in unlike my leathers. So they have to be atl east a 34". Whereas the Leather jacket hugs you tighter than the enduro jacket but i cannot wear a jumper underneath the enduro as i bulk out too much. Whereas the Leather jacket i could wear two and it would only make me look fat :O

So to be honest these aren't small at all and being 10 stone im sure they would be suitable for someone say 12-13ish stone.

Hi,
What is the leg length?

Ben Whitcher 12-12-11 08:57 PM

Re: RST 2 piece leathers (Good condition)

Hard to judge price of Jacket though Mavi. Rather sell as a set as its less hassle with postage. Hmm ty_uk in inches? Ill find out in a sec.

Ok pal, have lots of people asking but no one is coming with the cash so will see how the next couple of days go then decide what im going to do. But there is no way i will accept any lower than £140 for RST leathers!! Thats a steal just like my SV was im not going to be a "mug" would be the (best term) to use again.

Is that price £150 inc postage?

Ben Whitcher 13-12-11 03:18 PM

Re: RST 2 piece leathers (Good condition)

£150 will be including postage. I estimate postage to be £10 if not ill pay the rest. Bargain seeing what your getting, especially when the bottoms have hardly been worn.

Trousers are 40ish inches in length top to bottom. Tried to do inside leg but wasn't sure where to measure from if you need this info please let me know and how i go about measuring it :)

There not short though as they fit me fine at 6ft and 10 stone.

Use Parcel Monkey for sending heavy stuff like this, much cheaper than Parcelfarce, plus they collect from where you specify (work or home).

Its tracked and for a few pence extra its insured.

Only downside is waiting in for the courier to collect

Cost you about £8

Hmm think i'd rather use Royal mail as i don't trust other companies ;/ Will have a look though. Cheers though.

Leathers now SOLD! Thank you for interest everyone.

Re: RST 2 piece leathers (Good condition)

Sorry, but that's rubbish. Royal Mail & Parcelfarce are just as good at losing parcels than anybody.

I've used Pacelmonkey loads of times and never had any problems.

When you weigh the parcel at the post office get ready for a big shock when they quote you the price including insurance and tracking.

Which means you'll be getting less money for your leathers.

Re: RST 2 piece leathers (Good condition)

+1 on parcel monkey. It'll cost you 7.02 for them to collect from you (I get term to come to my place of work) and deliver next day.... fully insured. Its just took parcel force 3 weeks to deliver a parcel to me and it wasn't tracked or insured and the sender and I both had to make trips to the post office to send/ collect. Those leathers may even fit in a postal bag which would make parcel monkey even cheaper!

Lovely leathers, if they fit the guy who bought them then he's got a bargain!
btw i use senditnow.com(aka parcelforce) but they're getting cheeky by 'adding' vat onto the price whereas before it was included, but still, credit to parcelforce the always collect and deliver ontime. But as long as they get there it doesn't matter who you use!

Owenski 29-12-11 04:57 PM

Aye pal they fit me a charm.
