Sv650 curvy idle speed question.

Been out on bike for first time . Enjoyed it , but when chokes off it sits at just below 1000 revs . Then at traffic lights i touch throttle and cuts out :s so now i ride with choke on 2000 revs to make sure ? That what i shud do?

Idle seems a bit low,

The manual says it should idle at about 1300 rpm. Idle speed adjuster is on the frame on the left hand side

Why are the manual photos so rubbish? I thought it was because I was using downloaded copies but I got an original Suzuki manual for the RGV and they're still garbage.

The little daisy wheel you're looking for is in this gap in the frame.

Ooooo! I know this one. Flashing is first warning then after a while it goes solid. There's loads of threads if you search with differing opinion on how much fuel Is left & how far you'll get.

Don't hold the 'outer casing' of the idle adjuster. It's not an outer casing, it's a solid rubber rod and the whole thing nneds to rotate when you turn the end.

The second thing isn't good for the engine. You can leave unburnt fuel in the cylinder which then helps remove the lubricant - increasing engine wear.
