All for 99p? or am I reading something wrong?

I'll give you 99p + P&P for just the standard can making the rest of your bits free :)

Seller completed the transaction, picked it all up already.
SK I'm keepin the exhaust for quiet days as my Akro came in at 104 at cadwell. Although I had no idea what the revs were.

He must've been right miffed by that! How was he when you arrived to pick the stuff up?

Re: eBay bargain!

Na they were fine. I told them I felt weird just giving them two 50ps but they said that if noone took them they'd chuck them in the bin.

The downpipes were brand new and never fitted!!

Re: eBay bargain!

Lucky so n so

I'd get the pipes back on the bay as they're worth a bit

Nope, seemed to be fairly well written just ended at 11am on a Saturday and was pickup only from Cardiff. Just so happened I was working in Cardiff today.

Re: eBay bargain!

Yep poor time to end it really, and pick up puts a lot of folk off, but their loss is your gain

Re: eBay bargain!

Hope you asked for your 1p change?

Mr Speirs 14-04-12 06:58 PM

Re: eBay bargain!

I thought about it!! Haha thought it would be a bit too much to insist on my 1p.
I think I'll get over it though.

I got an F1 race day ticket for Silverstone a couple of years ago for £1. The guy did a 1 day listing, ending on the Sat night at 5pm, pick up only as the race was the next day. I felt dead guilty giving him a £1, but that's life and I did do a 20 mile round trip to collect it :D

Epic Monkey 14-04-12 07:34 PM

Haha. Good buy. My mate bought a giant pair of wrought iron gates for his driveway for 99p last year. Seller was super annoyed when he arrived to pick them up with a pound coin.

don't really do eBay but my dad does but for example if you find you only had a £5 note in your pocket would you ask for change of just take it of them for £5 pound even if it was only 99p as I would feel very guilty as it feel like a organised robbery taking all that off him for £1

i would ask for the change! would you go into a shop and pay 400% more than the asking price?

Pickup should never be a problem , there is enough of us on here to do a "Hand Over" service . I bagged an eBay bargain in Northumbria .... good old Mr Smith came to the rescue on that one :)

If you start the listing for 99p and only one person bids on the item, then that's tough luck.

Start the auction with a sensible starting price, then you don't lose out
