Rideout in the near future?

As per the title. Would be nice to get to know some of you in person before the AR and hopefully if I can make the AR join you on the way down.

Don't mind when, as long as the weathers nice.

Would love to. How far do you fancy. Then take your pick from Southern Scotland, Cheviots, North Pennines, Yorkshire Dale, Lakes or North Yorks Moors.

Re: Rideout in the near future?

Have only lived in newcastle a couple of years and haven't strayed too far from where I live as I ride solo so dont really know any decent routes. I tend to just go in a general direction and hope the roads arent too straight. My restriction is coming off next Sat - Sun along with a much needed Carb synch so that would be as good a time as any. Dont really mind when, can do most weekends so whenever everyone is available. You can pick the route, i'll follow and find out what ive been missing.

Mal's put two northern raids up, ones coast to coast and the other's Peebles

There is the loop up the Military road and back down the Coldstream road (edit its in here)
I'll try and dig out the northern loop of sv4me & BP's Iron **** trip

Dunn-y. The SV Ecosse lads are very welcoming and a joy to ride with. I am trying to join them a couple of times a year as well as riding with the PM.

I like the sound of a coast to coast one, might as well go the whole hog and get the bike covered in proper salt, fed up of this bad weather crappy road stuff

Yeah that looks good. This weekend I'm not sure about, next weekend I'm definitely free, made sure of that as my restriction is coming out. :-D
