Re: CARNAGE: Prop & costume requirements

Cheers muchly dudemasterflex. I'll modify the above list above!

What is the dodgy glove and which articles of weaponry do you think you'll be bringing?

And what do you have in the way of combat outfits? I'm not looking for all soldier gear. Other random stuff like leather jackets, weird bandanas, bullet belts (that'd be cool!) etc. would be useful too.

And what are you thinking for the ninja outfit?

Pah! Just realised I have a chainsaw in my garage! Added to the props list ...

Not sure about a prop but it'll be vital for whoever stands behind fallout holding the boom mike, how do you think he got his name?

Re: CARNAGE: Prop & costume requirements

Got lots of old bike leathers, old combat 95's, desert combats, new MTP combats, CBRN suits and loads more crap. Ninja outfit = zorro outfit minus hat!
Gloves all sorts, was thinking set fire to denim work glove and use the resulting charred mess (will require tactical burning and extinguishing).

Got a nice shiny machete too! Loads of torches, green issued right angle torches, mag light etc!

Got cam cream, could possibly snag a few cam nets if required!

Black, blue and green balaclavas and who knows what else as I said come over and have a look!

Too much to list, but I'll add the machete and gas mask to the list so they're not forgotten, but bring anything else cool you remember on the day!

100% yes mate. It won't be fired or arsed about with. We don't need the battery or BBs if it makes him feel better. Just need it for a 3 second scene of Maniac Gamer going ballastic pretending to shoot people. :-D

Re: CARNAGE: Prop & costume requirements

Adding torches to this list. In the absence of professional lighting, if we need to film inside a building without light, a whole bunch of torches would be useful. Who has any bigguns?!

I've got a big one, I'll check if it works tonight...

Got one medium size nowt special torch but I'll see if there is any of the 3million candle jobbies in the stores at work.

I've got a 3 D Cell maglite and a mains plug in 150W flood light you can borrow if needed? Might be able to lay my hands on a double site light on a tripod as well

Nice! Will see if I can lay my hands on a generator!

Thanks for all that gents. Glad to see you're getting into it! It's a bit overkill though, lamp + generator etc. Almost all shots will be outside and generator background noise would be a big OTT. Torches are the best bet, even if they're not half as good, especially since we may be hopping over a fence. We don't want anything too cumbersome. :bball:

It's got a strap that you can put over your shoulder but its pretty heavy.

HA! The little Honda gene's we use are V quiet, light and small with a long enough extension lead you'll struggle to hear it, especially in a building.

Who said hopping fences, there's a gate! Lop the lock off and replace with new padlock with key left in (got loads knocking about in the shed!).

Re: CARNAGE: Prop & costume requirements

Well wouldn't do any harm to have one in the car then if it's available. :)

Re: CARNAGE: Prop & costume requirements

Ok no probs, maglite is still there if you want to use it. Should have a 12v torch from my tool kits as well. When are you planning on filming? Just so I can dig out any lights you you want to use.

It's all scheduled to happen this weekend. Still not confirmed a location though!

Re: CARNAGE: Prop & costume requirements

You going to need the site lights and maglite torch?

I'm off down to Southampton on saturday to pick up a bike but can drop the lights off to Thunderaces before then if needed

Re: CARNAGE: Prop & costume requirements

Thanks muchly mate, but don't worry about it. I rekkied a few locations today with the camera and the light is good, so don't bother yourself. Offer is much appreciated though squire. :)

I've just spent the morning servicing a gene now I take it we dont need it as no lighting is required

Fallout 18-10-12 02:10 PM

Re: CARNAGE: Prop & costume requirements

Mate, if you've put effort into it, bring it. If it outputs 240v AC then we can have it as a backup for charging various devices. My laptop battery is junk and reviewing footage will be necessary. I did by a 12v to 240v inverter on ebay but not sure if it's arrive in time. Same for backup camera batteries. Taking bloody ages to turn up! So there's a high risk of running out of juice.

Oh bum! I knew I should have checked the Org again at work!
Left the gene at work and I'm going into London tomorrow but I will see if one of the lads can grab it for me.

I'm in London tomorrow too. Maybe we should pop into Soho for a coffee and give the bouncer a hug?

Yeah we could also complain when he hugs us back!

@Fallout, gene squared, it's getting dropped of at mine tomorrow.

Re: CARNAGE: Prop & costume requirements

Splendid! We probably won't need it but it won't do any harm. I might bring some random things to plug into it like my washing machine to make the most out of it.

Re: CARNAGE: Prop & costume requirements

Don't take the **** it's only designed for low loads (laptops, phone chargers, printers and such) even a kettle will trip it out.

Re: CARNAGE: Prop & costume requirements

Just had a word with Mrs Ace and she'll get some half naked JBA on the go if it aint too cold! If it is chilly she said she could find something raunchy but less chilly than a bikini, this does all depend on a babysitter as we don't don't want Mini Ace getting in the way all day.
