Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

Blimey if everyone follows through then both days are now fully booked! I've had loads of requests for space in September so after the June one is out of the way i mihgt see about anotehr one later inteh year, but no guarantees.

Owenski 12-02-13 03:07 PM

Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

Any more orgers Johnny?

johnnyrod 12-02-13 03:15 PM

Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

For June there's you, Tom the Great, L3nny, Paul 6th, and a couple of Oroses. For Sept there's you, Glade, Tom the Great, Acting Strange, CB1000Steve and 3x speedyctr. No laydees or virgins this time, as far as I am aware, which is unusual!

I've got a spare place now for June 4th if anyone fancies it?

Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

Is that a drop out (ie deposit already paid?) I know Roberrrrt is up for it but cant spend big money as he's saving for his wedding the £40 discount might swing it in his favour.

Sept is fully booked I'm afaid, will post next year when there are free places! I ended up not using my camera at all, but there shoudl be some posted in the same thread in the Madlanders section

johnnyrod 10-07-13 12:29 PM

Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

There may be a free place for 24th Sept on a smaller bike, these are good for people under about 5'6" or so, and well suited to laydees/non-riders as they are easier to manage than the bigger bikes. This is a little up in the air but if you would be interested then please let me know.

Owenski 10-07-13 02:07 PM

Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

Tom may want this for Amanda, I'll point him this way.

Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

I've just informed Johnny I cant make the September date for this.
I've had my name down since day dot and the leave booked from work at the same time but with leave requests coming in left right and center I'm going to have to retract my leave to allow others time off who want that whole week.
For me its a bit ****ty but for one of you lucky sods its a bonus as there is now a spare place, deposit has been paid so IIRC £70 gets you in.

Thats a ****ter mate but sometimes can't be helped :( I'll take plenty picks of Mrs the great and how she gets on :)

PS Jonny I'm sending both second half's as one hope that's OK.

Is this space still available at £70. Could be very tempted, have got a few spare holidays to use.

johnnyrod 12-08-13 02:00 PM

Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

It'll be the full £110 as usual I'm afraid, unless Owenski is feeling very generous. I have someone who says they're interested, if it doesn't go to them I'll drop you a line if you like?

Whitty 12-08-13 02:20 PM

Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

Ok, let me know on here mate thanks. Still might be interested but it was the price that tempted me if owenski was losing his deposit? Full price is into trackday or race entry money.

johnnyrod 12-08-13 03:14 PM

Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

Yes it is but the VFM here is pretty serious - on a track day you don't get the bike and gear thrown in, or have the place to yourself and the rest of the group exclusively, or have an ex-British champion giving you tips. If I can sell Owenski's place on then he can get his deposit back, if I can't then he'll lose it but that's the end of the story. There isn't any other cost to be covered so just letting it go for the difference in payment would be a bit of a kicker for him I'm afraid. Other off-road days tend to be £200 upwards.

Whitty 12-08-13 03:26 PM

Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

Yes not disputing that, but always looking for a bargain!I'm from Yorkshire:)

Owenski 12-08-13 11:14 PM

Re: Motocrossing at Doncaster, 2013 version!

If I may johnny then if the person you have lined up to pay the full £110 falls through. I would like to offer my place to whitty at £70, I know this means I would lose my deposit but it would be a lesson in good karma for me to allow him the saving.
A few years ago before I'd ever met him he gave me a full Scotoiler and fitting kit with out charge purely because I was a forum member and willing to collect.
This would be my chance to repay the favour so provided its for him id be happy to let him have the slot at £70... anyone else has to pay full whack though, I too am a Yorkshire man after all.
