will the zx10 shock fit on a SV650S K8 mate? I've heard its a really worthwhile mod to fit

Yep, straight fit, no cutting at all. I've got an identical one on my '05 and was going to put this on a track bike I'm putting together just now but got hold of a Penske so I'll use that instead.

It's black, think they all are? The bit that extends the mudguard and you bolt the number plate to originally. I can send you a photo if you're interested just to make sure we're talking about the same bit.
