Tyres oh tiring tyres

Right the boring choice again,

I am looking at prematurly changing my tyres as i have super hard mega milage tyres fitted to mine (actually better that i had expected)

but as ill be getting more power on the 21st jan (33bhp time up) i want something more inspiring, now i have read the tyre section however could not find anything on these avons av45/46!! now JHS seem to really rate them ,
Does any one have any experience of them????

cause if i go to www.motorbike-tyres.com ther only £134 a pair, cheaper the the 014's and the 010's that i was thinking of!

So any thoughts,

Cheers all

Oh ps, on the bike today as car mot has expired and not yet fixed! Doh!!!
kinda please though!

I think the overall favourite is the Bridgestone BT 010 front, 020 rear combination.

However they're phasing out the 010, replacing it with 014 - which I've heard are pretty crap!

I'm running 020's all round, and I think it's a great combination, providing all round performance in the wet or dry. I've just replaced my rear tyre which has completed over 8000 miles.

Rictus loves them and will doubtless wax lyrical if you PM him.

Wow, I get twice that much if they're not destroyed by nails by then.

On a rear? You must ride like a pansie!

iv git set of pereili (duno how to spell it) dragon corsas there good wear for high milliage and iv done 3000 miles on them and they dont look like theve eva moved and there soft sticky when warmed for complete controll round twistys takes alot for the rear to brake loose but if it does its very controllable and lotsa fun i would recommend these to every 1

Aussies don't do that, Besides riding style would make very little difference.
Must have softer compounds over there.

My last 020 was shagged after 3500 miles, my new one doesn't look that healthy either. Riding style has to make a big difference and I have to admit to using the bike's full acceleration potential wherever it's safe to do so.

It's difficult to understand, but it looks like the Avons finnished last in both dry and wet tests  Can't wait to hear Rictus view on that 8-[

I'm a restricted rider also  and I'm still looking for something a little bit more stable than my standard Dunlops.

Now that's not nice. The fact that it's currently true is rather sad. :(
