Whats involved in fitting the color kits? Is it a clock strip down or just a couple of screws?

I'm not too clever with screwdrivers, spanners etc

it's a delicate soldering job. Not to be attempted if you don't know what you're doing with a small soldering iron.

oooooooooooooohhhhh.

pretty lights..

after the mess i made of taking out my back wheel, im not gonna try this unless its idiot proof,
of course when you make something idiot proof they just make a better idiot,

No technical reason why not, though I think it might make the screen a bit difficult to read.

Chewy, I love these so much, will definitely be ordering a blue kit in the near future.

Cool thanks

I can get any colour but what the outcome when fitted will be I dont know ? These three are whats been done with my DIY kit I think the green looks bloody nice on the yellow SV.
The instructions are in my webpage so if you want to download them feel free. There in Word doc 6 pages long with pictures to help all the way. It took me about 2 weeks to put it all togeather as I have allways said the information is free for all to see but getting hold of the SMDs LEDs has been a right pain to get them right. Anyway all sorted now.

Pretty sure that's right.
I seem to remember AndrewCharnley and Viney both saying that LEDs are no good to replace the bulbs because they're not defuse enough.
You could probably put some coloured bulbs in, though.

There is a guy on sv1000.zyns who used my kit and put two red ones in the tac rev counter area and six blue in the LCD display. It looks so good I am going to do this myself next week. I will post up results when I sort mine out. If you want me to split the kit just ask and I will do it for you no extra charge. You will need six blue and two red just add it to the notes when you use paypall.

If you want all the instructions just look in my website and you can down load them for free.
