Hmm not sure, got any better pictures?
If you want to reduce the noise you could try a baffle, I know fuel silencers on ebay sell baffles, maybe measure the diameter of the pipe and send them some details. |
Wont let me see it at work. I'll have a peek at home tonight.
|
cheers all. il get better pics maybe later this week, but i thourght those were gd pics REALY. no ideas at all anyone?

look very similar to my renegade can!
Can't be sure but mine have a marking/stamping around the connector pipe that attatches to the header. they are LOUD cans especially twin exhausts I nearly had an ASBO taken out against me cos I leave for work at 4am! ooops! Just got one on now   |
GPR's maybe :? . I'm not sure though.
|
That is a Kenz twin high level system. Ask Northwind about em.....
|
cheers junior, got a website for them or a price?
|
Have absolutely no information on em. I only recognized the system. Heard they are "loudern' the end of the world" tho'. I tried google/MSN/Yahoo and nothing. Good luck.

Yup, it's Kenz Sport 2-2 system, the mounting brackets give it away. They were never formally exported from Japan as far as I can tell, which is why you don't get any of the familiar markings. Mine came off an SV400 that'd been imported then broken. It's very hard to actually find anything out about them, the only thing I got on Google was lots of Japanese, and a review from the old forum on here. Nobody on SV Rider's even heard of them either (though some people did get a bit uppity and insist they were Renegades)
There should be a small brass tag on the top of each can near the tail... Two on the right hand side IIRC. One is basically the japanese equivalent of our E mark. The other says something rather zen like "Kenz Sport: Following the ride in my dream" or similiar :) They're really nice, aren't they? Silly loud, especially on a 650 with the cam swap- that's why I reverted to my single can system, they were just asking for trouble! Sound lovely though. Does yours have holes drilled in the exits for baffles? Mine did, but no baffles to be seen sadly. Really good build quality too... Junior knows about 'em because I'm trying to sell him mine... Or more exactly, I've sold him mine but I can't find a courier that'll ship it at a reasonable rate. Still looking mate! http://server2.uploadit.org/files/no...d-fromrear.jpg http://server2.uploadit.org/files/no...lhswidejpg.jpg http://www.jp-tele.com/sundance/tour...ber/mem13.html |
cheers mate. Yeah thats them! Baffles? what baffles? yeah got a hole, but no baffles, i can see its asking for trouble
Those gold metal plates are jap eqivalant of E mark? er u sure? there is no way that it could be legal in 1000 years. I have reducers in mine and its still very very illegal loud! |
Seem to be... I guess the baffles were very effective ;)
|
cheers northwind. As long as u cant get points for an exhaust system im riding with no baffles and only u and i know how loud that is :D
|
had to read again to realise u meant it was a Kenz not a renagade! cheers northwind!
