Why the prob with the OEMs?
I haven't faulted them since scrubbing them in (though U di get them a bit warm with the first 20 miles on the private test track! |
I just find that they feel a bit too "ungrippy"(for lack of a better word) even when warm...and yes I do warm them up before I start riding "properly".
|
I just don't find them any worse than the 020 front and rear combo I had before.
The front washes outif I really push hard, the rear steps out on roundabouts if I hit the load handle too early |

I just cannot justify spending £170 on tyres when the ones I have on the bike are nowhere near ready to be turfed out the door  |

You are more than welcome to have a ride on my bike, currently fitted to with Roadattacks. Personaly, anything is better than stock rubber. *Realises im about to go on about my tyres, so logs off* |
Thanks for the info guys! My standard japanese D220's are lying in the boot of my wife's car at the moment  Fitted some Michelin Pilot Race tyres to the SV (Given to me very very generously by justmacsv650 for the price of a round of drinks next weekend  ) and so far I really really like them. Only done a few miles on them but they seem to inspire a lot more confidence around the bends...
