Blue 01 SV650S

I've decided to sell my bike, as it's not practical for my job, and I can't afford to keep it, and get a car :( .

I'll add the details when I get home from work.

how much you looking for? mileage etc?

mikehodges2 09-11-05 05:14 PM

OK..sorry about the delay.
The essentials:

Blue SV650S K1
~19700 miles
Datatool Veta Evo Alarm
Alpha dot
Tax 'til Sept 06
MOT 'til March 06

New battery fitted March '05
Heated Grips
Paddock Stand
Fender Extender
33BHP restrictor kit, and original parts.

Unfortunately, I came off the bike a few months ago and scratched up the fairing, snapped the left foot pedal and the clutch lever. However, it was fixed up beautifully - so now there isn't a scratch on it (I just checked it over 8) )

I'm looking for around £2300.

P.M. me if you'd like to have a look at it - no picture can do the colour justice.

I'm also selling my RST Pro Leathers (blue) - jacket (40" chest), and jeans (30" waist - though I'm usually a 32" - and I'm 6'4", they fit fine).

mikehodges2 10-11-05 07:05 PM

Heh...I completely forgot that it's currently restricted to 33BHP, and will come with the original parts to derestrict it. 8)

hi mike, nothing to do with the sale unfortunatly, but where did you get the fender extender please, thanking you fred. 8)

mikehodges2 11-11-05 08:29 PM

Not sure, it was fitted when the bike was first serviced.

fred600n 11-11-05 09:20 PM

Hi Mike, your bike looks good! I'm interested, can you derestrict it yourself or does it need to be done professionally.

Cheers

Very easy to de-restrict, I did mine in about 20 mins, just make sure you dont like any parts of the needle assembly, or the spring doesnt spring off and sod off somewhere.

It came with fitting instructions too - but I got it fitted at the garage where I bought the kit, as they said they'd fit it free (and I'm not very mechanically minded either 8)). I guess you could follow the steps in reverse?

P.M. me if you'd like to come have a look Sean.

Not quite, if it's the official suzuki ones then you follow the intructions and swap them for the ones without a hole in. You swap throttle slides rather than inserting/removing washers.

Fair enough, it is the "Official" suzuki kit.

Anyway, someone buy my bike! I need to get a car! :(
