Hibernation!
Well peeps I know it's a bit chilly on the w*lly in most parts at the mo but surely no need for everyone to curl up in a cosy corner somewhere? Surely we can keep the natter going through these cold and miserable months?
(Please dont force me to have to keep popping in to Soho Massive! :? ) |
Well, I'm here, so no need for those Southern jessies

I am Sooooo fed up with this weather.
Went in to work today, wrapped up in fleece and thermals because of the dire warnings. However, I then spent the rest of the day in shorts and a T-shirt, having to slather on factor 25 to keep from burning. Worse, when I got home to my garden, the searing sun had shrivelled my camelia blossoms and frankly, the grapes were much the worse for wear as well because the automatic sprinklers had just not been able to keep up with the demand for water. But the most distressing thing was that my flock of Flamingos had found that the water in the lake had become too warm to let them slake their thirst, and were showing signs of dehydration - despite the 200 foot high waterfall that feeds in glacier mel****er from the Tyrol. Even the Unicorns looked listless, and regrettably one had fallen prey to the Sumatran Leopard that lives in the tropical rain-forest area, just behind the shed at the bottom of the garden. Still, that's what you have to put up with when you live in the North, and I bet MPaton2099 has similar problems in his garden. |
It must be getting cold, my lad has come home from work today and asked his mum to buy him some thermal vests. Can't blame him really as he works in unheated/outside environments.
For me I had to turn the electric fire on in my office today. normally the heat off my puters is enough to make me want to install A/C |
