the lyrics are fantastic. i'm amazed they're written by a 17 year old!

he's the Theo Walcott of the rock n roll world! :D

*EDIT*

for those who haven't a clue what i'm gibbering about, and lets face it there's probably many of you, Theo Walcott is the 16 year old used to play for my beloved Southampton, until the nasty Arsenal offered us £12m for him.

Not only did they offer £12mill. It was accepted by Rupert and Arsenal duly took the booty.

TBH £12m - £5m up front - for a 16 year old was too much to resist. I don't blame woopert for that one!

The lads are from High Green sheffield, My mates have seen them twice live before they released "bet that you look good on the Dancefloor" and hit number one. I hope they go far because they've got some crackin songs on the album.

My favorite record shop in Derby reveal can't get enough copies of this album in talking to one of the staff he can't remember such a good seller.
Like both of the singles so may have to invest.

tricky 30-01-06 11:10 PM

Isn't it one of the fastest selling albums in the UK ever ?
It is good though, I think "From the Ritz to the Rubble" is my fave track so far.

Don't like 'em. Decidedly mediocre and nothing new. A classic example of a band doing better than they deserve to, because their songs are a bit catchy and radio 1 play them incessantly. Bah, humbug!

so, whats your definition of a good record then? one thats not catchy? one that doesn't make people smile and sing along?

"a band doing better than they deserve" ? why, pray tell mr cowell, DON'T they deserve to do well? let's hear a pearl of your wisdom? can't wait to hear this.....

Saint Matt 31-01-06 07:57 PM

Best thing from sheffield since steel  They rule.

jump 31-01-06 10:26 PM
