Conrad Poons 31-03-06 04:38 PM

I would have done but it's a football day.

I might be about tomorrow if it's dry enough.

Jdubya 01-04-06 04:05 PM

So that counts two out due to the hammers playing on a sunday then...anyone else up for a bimble then?

Dicky Ticker 01-04-06 04:30 PM

J ules, waiting to see what the weather does, but if ok will only be as far as Finchingfield I'll ring you in the morning

Conrad Poons 01-04-06 06:15 PM

Ok, so I didn't get out today despite the good weather (crucified myself up the gym instead) but Paul (CBR) and myself are going to take a leisurely one to Burnham for some pre-match brekkie. Should be there about 11 (Finchingfield too far on a match day!!).

Jdubya 01-04-06 06:41 PM

So who else would be keen on getting out and aboot tomorrow?

Iansv 01-04-06 08:25 PM

Not anymore, got some stuff I gotta do now, weather doesn't look too great either

Good ride today...lovely weather...dry(ish) roads for most of the time(got caught in a shower on the A12/M25 leg of my return journey) and good company as always...just a pity there are those among us who feel that a leather ball takes precedence over a two-wheeled machine thereby missing out on brilliant tea's and tea-cakes and the best essex jam finchingfield has to offer. Others again prefer to get the wicks dipped/work on the fiat while others would move to portsmouth for a shag....

Have I offended enough people yet :?:

SpankyHam 02-04-06 08:25 PM

By the time I got up it was..... 12:00

Gonna be honest with you. SinceI commute on the bike 40 miles a day I really don't have the need for a Sunday run.

But as always: Glad you had a great time.

Not at all. I had a lovely ride to Burnham, 2 bacon and egg sarnies and a pot of tea. Cracking ride home and then went to football with my mates.
With an understanding wife (at times) I have found it is possible to have more than one hobby... Best of both worlds yesterday. Except the game was utter poo.
