Any better locations for our Friday night meet

I did a no show last Friday, partly cos i was at home and not just round the corner at work, but mainly cos the idea of hangin about by a couple of cashpoints on the outter extremes of covent garden didnt excatly thrill me.

I guess what i'm saying is that i miss Soho already and feel we need to find someplace a bit more involving than we have at CG at the moment.

Just wanted to see if anyone has any other locations in mind we could try this week???? :?

Otherwise, weather permitting, everyone come over to mine and i'll light the barbie. Just bring your own grub.
Oh and i'll happily serve up the coffees.

At Cafe Nero prices, to pay for the clean up op that'll be needed after the massive have trampled thru my flat.

So c'mon you Londoners. There must be loads of kool places we could be hanging out on a Friday night in this vibrant city.
Musn't there?

I might be ablet to think of a few. Is a coffee shop required?

Coffee hell yes, and ideally some food place close by too.

I think that normal place might be ok again. The LB peeps went there last fri and that burley plod just asked them to park on one side of the road.

I'm going to try Frith Street - nothing to loose :D

Well we could go back and try our luck. I think the difference with the LB crew and ourselves is the time we arrive. We can use CG as a fall back.

After experiencing CG for two meets now, it definitely does not have such a good atmosphere. Although I go to meet my friends, the location comes second.

Look guys, I'm more than happy for you to use my place, but of course it won't have any atmosphere if I'm not there!

Happy to do foot patrol of soho on friday and see what's going down.

I'd have to agree, having been the last to leave on the three occasions at CG it's a bit dead after 10 or so, found myself getting home for just gone 11 at one time  , although earlier in the evening it has passing traffic, it soon dies down, not really "in the mix" so to speak, maybe summer will see it revive somewhat?

If it's any help,

I'm working until about 6:30 Friday,if you give Soho a try and phone me before 6.50-7pm and I'll post it on the board before I kick off.

PM me for my number if you haven't got it.

Cheers Mark.
