Biker Biggles 05-06-06 03:43 PM

What do you get when the lunatics take over the asylum?

DanDare 05-06-06 03:47 PM

A man walks up to you and says - "everything I say to you is a lie."
Is he telling you the truth or is he lying?

Biker Biggles 05-06-06 03:51 PM

He's lying.

Correct

He's lying. Even though he's lying when he says "everything" he says is a lie, some of the things he says can be a lie, and this is one of them.

Biker Biggles 05-06-06 04:06 PM

Anyway---What do you get when the lunatics take over the asylum?

Madness gone politically correct.

A cowboy rides into town one day on his horse. He arrives on Friday, spends three days in town, then leaves on Friday. How is this possible?

Is it 1 + 100 =101 * 50 = 5050??? Or am I wrong? :?

rpwoodman 05-06-06 06:30 PM

Well, certainly, I can't think of a better way of doing it!
So that's the answer I was thinking of. Congrats.

There were some great Mensa tests they used to have on the front of the broadsheets a few years back. What was good about them was that you could do them the hard way, or you could do them in about 2 seconds with the right technique.

BabyJ 05-06-06 08:34 PM

From memory, 31536000 (std 24 hour day, 365 days a year). I remember working it out in a dull class when I was a teenager. Why, oh why, can't I remember the useful things in life?
