Cool. I really want to go to Japan.
Did you take your bike over? :? Wouldn't that cost a fortune? |

O.K. Guys and gals!
Your quite right, A-Jay, I am living out here at the moment. I'm doing a spot of web design for a mate. Just allways fancied coming here, and being able to have some work out here gave me the oppurtunity to come out. Really wanted to come here since about the age of 13, and having taken a gap year before going to uni, I thought it was the ideal time to come out here. I'm still having an excellent time, although the "newness" and holiday feeling to it is kind of fading, I still giggle reading attempts at advertising/slogans in English, and still find a lot of the Japanesey-ness of the place cool. People are very friendly, and everyone is generally very tolerant of one another. Creamerybutter, I didn't bring the bike over. The SV is sitting at home on paddock stands covered in WD40! It's layed up until I get back. I bought the Gixer out here, and promptly fell in love with it, as ya do. I was in two minds whether to keep the SV and continue upgrading it, or just buy a better bike using the money I would have to spend on the SV. Well yea, I've decided I'm gunna keep the Gixxer, so it's coming back with me! SV will be for sale when I get back once I've given it a dust off and a service. A few goodbye rides wouldn't go a miss either on the old gal, probably whilst I wait for the Gixxer to arrive! Ahh bless I'm all emotional now- the thought of selling the SV! The Buell was handmade by a bloke. He used an English Wheel to handform all of the Aluminium bodywork by hand. I reckon there's a fair few weeks worth of work in there.....It was stunning mind. The Eiffel Tower is in fact Tokyo Tower! It's where the pictures where taken of the Tokyo Skyline at night. Grinch, That girl was tiny yes lol. Was dressed up for some manga film launch or something. I don't know, couldn't work it out. There were men dressed as rabbit girls aswell (dont ask....), I think it may have been the drugs... A-Jay, definitely reccomend picking up some of the Lingo first. You can get by with minimal stuff, but I still struggle from time to times with what I have. The worst part is picking up girls- You tend to be fecked if your as ugly as I am and can't chat em up! There is a flipside though, your hot pickings for all the European, American and Ozzie birds! The bike pics are from D-games. Petrol-heads paradise basically. They had car drifting, autocross, Bike drifting (Yes!), supermoto, Stunt shows, Freestyle Motorcross. Twas a riot. Managed to get reet up close thanks to press passes (cheers Dino!) Anyways, Lunchbreak over, back to work! Dan. |
Somebody told me that if you want to pull Japanese girls - grow a beard!
Apparently Japanese blokes are relatively hairless and can only usually grow very wispy beards, so they view anyone with a full beard as very virile and wise. I've no idea if it's true, but it can't hurt to try! |
Feck!
Knew I shouldn't have had a shave this morn! Been a bit under the weather and hadn't had one for a few days so was gerrin quite old joe stylee. The razor will be banished for a cupla weeks then. Danno! |
Dear Dan. I am a Nigerian business man, and, em, own a country. Which I am going to sell, and give you, say,,, half of the money.
What you will need to do is quickly ship your gixxer to NYU Genomics. Write Philip on a post-it, and slap it on the tank. This will allow me drive about to the bank and the Zamibian embassy and things as I process the funds. Then you can have half. Kindest regards, P. |
