Fifty pence and that's my final offer.

Law 16-06-06 11:12 PM

Only if I were gonna bolt it to someone else's bike as a practical joke.

Diveboy 16-06-06 11:18 PM

Didn't know Mr.T had an SV.

Is it made from the same stuff as diecast cars?

SVmonkey 17-06-06 10:38 AM

Looks pants to me, I'd rather pay extra and get a galfer or braking wave if I wanted an aftermarket rear disc.

w1ll15 17-06-06 12:01 PM

doesnt look very good as someone said looks to be cut from slate

Stig 17-06-06 02:12 PM

Are you sure that's a real disc. It looks like a completely home made jobbie cut out of a piece of crappy left over steel.

That's a no from me then.

$tevo 17-06-06 02:45 PM

I wouldn't feel confident that the unsupported steel inside the "S"s wouldn't distort under heavy braking.

Plasma or laser cut? Heat deformed? Dunno...

svrash 17-06-06 03:02 PM

Its on ebay, wouldn't buy it me self

peterco 17-06-06 03:57 PM

I was just thinking... so does that mean that you can bolt essentially anything at all onto the back wheel there and call it a brake disk. Because, that's waht it looks like. A bit of iron that the welder lads left on the site. I'm serious.

Oh yeah. No.

Lissa 18-06-06 11:47 AM

Nay, nay and thrice nay

Kylie 18-06-06 01:44 PM

If it were 50p I might get one to fix to the garage wall for the laugh. Not going anywhere near my bike though.

furrybean 18-06-06 01:50 PM

I imagine most people will be returning it and most will be opting for a refund, rather than replacement.

Say_Cheese 19-06-06 04:38 PM

Not a hope in hell.

The Polarbear 20-06-06 12:18 AM

Looks as though it would add around 10 kg in weight! Are you sure it's not been nicked off some statue somewhere of some bloke with the initials "SV"???

I'd buy it and stick it on somebody's Harley D. for a laugh and then run like buggery!!! :P

northwind 20-06-06 11:00 AM

No reason to assume it won't work perfectly, SV rear discs have a very easy time of it. But no matter what, it will look rubbish...
